Halmstad University Scholarship

Every year, Halmstad University enrolls a large number of students in its various master’s programs. To ensure that they receive the necessary financial support, it provides them Halmstad University Scholarship program. It is an excellent initiative by the university to encourage students to study in Sweden.

Halmstad University Scholarship is only offered to new international students.
Recipients of the scholarship get a tuition fee waiver of 25% or 50%.
Applicants suitable for the scholarship will receive their application form via email.
Notification to the recipients will be sent at the beginning of April.

Halmstad University Scholarship award is initially allocated to the recipients for the duration of one semester. Depending upon their conduct and performance, the scholarship is extended for the duration of the PG program, be it 2 semesters of 4 semesters.

Eligibility Criteria

As mentioned earlier, the Halmstad University Scholarship program is designed to support the new students financially. So, there are no specific and rigid eligibility requirements for the program.

To be eligible for the scholarship program, applicants must fulfill the two basic criteria given below:

Must be an international student from outside the EEA/EU and Switzerland.
Must have secured admission in a Halmstad Master’s Program.

Application Process

The application process for the Halmstad University Scholarship is very structured. Please read the steps below:

Eligible applicants will receive an email with a link to the online application on March 8.
Complete the Halmstad University Scholarship application form.
- Don’t forget to mention the application number allocated at the time of the program admission.
Completed applications must be submitted before March 15.

Note: If you haven’t received an email with the scholarship offer, unfortunately, you are not shortlisted for it.

Selection Process

All the complete Halmstad University Scholarship applications will be forwarded to the selection panel, set up by the university. The committee will review and evaluate each application.

Selections of the recipients will be based on their academic merit and potential, which includes their GPA, ranking of the previous university, and proficiency in English.

Applicants who have opted for the Halmstad University program as their first preference will be given priority.

The university officials will notify the Halmstad University Scholarship recipients by email in April.
