All about OUAT

The curriculum is according to CBSH syllabus,New Delhi. The syllabus can include more practicals. And also the availability of instruments should be there to do practicals individually. The exams are normal ...but the time given can change sometimes due to external factors that might shift the exam dates.

Admission fees are paid that includes exam fees as well . Fees are paid every Semester (?12000 per semester) that includes tuition fees,lab fees etc. Fees are same for all. There are no scholarships or aid that students can apply as such that the college is providing but can opt for many other government schemes for scholarship.

There is Annual Sports event and Annual Function as well as Annual Games that includes many activities like Quiz Competition,Salad making Competition,Art Competition, Mehndi Competition,Rangoli Competition,Debate Competition. There is OUAT central library which is really accessible for every student with library card provided by University. The library has quite a collection of books. There are many events that keep on occuring during the whole year.

I've applied to BJB college, RD college. No I did not get rejection from other colleges. The reason I choose this college over the others is because of the calm environment it offers as compared to other colleges. There is no student politics involved as such .

The permanent faculty members are less which is the problem as teachers are sometimes too busy to even take classes Dr. Debasis Das sir and Dr Jakesh Mohapatra sir are really quite at par when it comes to their knowledge. Mostly the temporary teachers are not so thorough with their teachings. The semester consists of Mid Semester (20 marks) and End Semester (80 marks) and practical exam (20 marks)

There is Siripur Market near there where you can get all the basic amenities required. Also there are food stalls that are set during evening time in Siripur Market where you can get very good quality street food. Night life is quite great as there are many restaurants near the college campus.
