Remarks :

Everything will be positive can't say any negatives about this college ,if we have any issues regarding anything we can talk with dean he will be very helpful and he will solve any kind of problem !!and one main thing abt labs is we should prepare our own chemicals so that will be something fishy but u can improve ur lab work !!

Course Curriculum Overview :

Such a great supporting faculty ,they teach very well,the course was good,biotechnology scheme as scope now days ,aftrng coming to dis college I got some idea about my course which I didn't know past,

Internships Opportunities :

as I know they won't provide any internship ,but they said that ,their are chances to arrange in this year ,but I don't think so,we should search out own internship from outside, but they will suggest some internship from outside company

Placement Experience :

Till now we didn't attended any placements, since from 3-4 yrs no placements ,then we had a thought to talk with dean, we went and talked with him.he gave us some hope that he will plan for placements as soon as possible

College Events :

Many events will be conducted by dean,first they will conduct freshers by seniors, that is 3 days of event lyt ethnic day ,school day ,and freshers!!and some competitions will be der lyk rangoli,sports,etc. And overall college fest will b conducted by college

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For local ppl I mean karnataka state people fee will be very less according to merit base,around 12k-20k,for non karnataka fee was very expensive it's around 2.5laks per years.4sem 2laks ,40k for donation

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship will be their but only for instate ppl,being outstate I dono abt scholorship!better apply non local ppl to there will.chances of getting scholarship for non karnataka people!!there will be 2 scholarships

Campus Life :

Labs will be der!!in one week 4labs each day 3hours lab and next class lyk as usual Friday and Saturday no labs and half day!!!sports will be there every year !lyk tennis throwback, running, shootout etc

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is very good ,they will provide food mineral water ,free wifi, and for each person they will gave bed and coat, in each room 2bed will b der!! They will.give u breakfast lunch snacks and dinner

External Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna :

Aqually we don't have any contact with senior bsc they will be busy from 3rd sem !but we have any inquiry we can contact them ,that they will create a group of 1st and 2nd year so we can interact with them through this no need to worry

Exam Structure :

For 2 year of course der will be 4 sems,for 1 year 2 sems ,1sem it will be 5 months, der will be 2 internals and preparatory exam for 1sem and then final xam.after done vth exams results will be out after months

Admission :

I came directly to the college and interacted with principal mam ,she told me ,out state people should come through management, first we should pay 40,000 for joining next according to sem this is for our state people, for local the fee was very less not more than 20k per sem,and they need not to pay any donations

Faculty :

Osm faculty,they teaches very well,they encourages students alot,they will manage classes according to their schedule,there will b 50 mints class for each subjects ,if mam were absent for particular sub another faculty will manage the class

Admission:

For applying the basic eligibility is Masters in Science oriented field with at least 55% marks secured. After which the university had held an entrance test for which I had to register by paying 41,000 rupees. After clearing the test, I got the admission.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are good . The students get to work on campus and they get opportunities to take up teaching jobs and also research jobs at the campus itself. The college also provides internship to its students.

Good place to learn , overall average in terms of reserach quality

Remarks:

Research is more of an independent pursuit, so I do not depend on university for any major part of my work. Only for passing the documents related to work, it takes a lot of time, which leads to delay in fellowships, grants for research. The system should be made more transparent and student centered.

Remarks:

I enrolled as a Int. PhD. Student in chemical science. You get opportunity to do any experiment in the lab. Its like you are given a lab and play with science. Entrance Preview:

I had appeared and cleared GATE, CSIR-UGC, ICMR and IISc entrance tests. My GATE rank was 87 and I also have cleared the remaining 3 exams I have mentioned above. I did not apply for any other institute, as I wanted to do my PhD here in this institute only. The reason behind choosing this institute is simple, "It's the best".

Admission:

I had applied through GATE exam and also had written institute entrance test (discontinued after 2012). I was called for interview into 3 departments of which I wanted to join the Molecular Biophysics Unit where I am now. After clearing the 2 rounds of interviews and after getting selected for PhD course here, I had written and cleared CSIR-UGC NET and ICMR exams and cleared them as well. THe admission process here is very simple and straight forward. You would be called for interview if have at least one of the qualifications mentioned, then you need to clear 1 or 2 rounds of interviews based on the department.
