About KU
Established in 1949 and gaining the title of a statutory university in 1950, Karnatak University is the second oldest university of Karnataka providing quality education over the years. There are 5 constituent colleges offering UG and PG courses in science, arts, commerce, fine arts, law and education. The institution has been consistently ranked at the 90th -95th place by the QS India University rankings and is amongst the top 550 colleges in Asia according to the Asian University rankings 2020. It is officially recognized by the UGC and has received Accreditation from the NAAC.
The university offers various PG and PhD courses under the department of science, social sciences and management studies. Admissions are processed on the basis of merit through the exam held by the institution for PG students and on the basis of merit for UG students.

Admissions at Karnatak University for PG and PhD aspirants are based on the entrance examinations conducted by the university and merit list is drawn up by the same.

Students who wish to apply to Karnatak University may follow the steps given below for the admission process:

There are many cources provided in college Physics Chemistry Mathmatics Statistics Electronics Computer science Botany Zoology and Microbiology and application form are provided in College Office which will be charged of 250 rs and should reach Seminar Hall who will be taking Admissions and exams will be held every once in a month

The couse had CET at the initial stage to take the best students of the lot. We had to score 60 % in our PUC. Most of the application process was online which was easy to be done even for the stuedents who were on remote areas,

I had given CET exam for the M.com seat and students who did b.com were eligible for the entrance exam.Application form was available online issued by government dates and fees will be mentioned in the notice sent by government. Exam included general knowledge paper and other paper included subject related to accounts economics etc, difficulty level was average anyone with good knowledge in subject could clear the exam. Areas of improvement are more number of seats should be given to obc category student as it had only 2seats.

My admission process was very good there was no such entrance exam because I had done the bcom course of three years and talking about the admission process it was very smooth and simple and budget friendly. All the details were very well explained and was easy to get admission done there was no such criteria of previous percentage also.

Admission at the Karnatak University, Dharwad will start from March tentatively. Karnatak University, Dharwad does not offer the BSc LLB course.
As of now, there is no such scholarship offered to the students apart from government funded schemes provided based on merit.
Admission to M.Com is done based on PGECET and the same has already been over by September 23rd 2023.
The total fee for the MBA course at Karnatak University is INR 1.08 Lakhs.
Unfortunately, KU Dharwad doesn’t offer distance mode or external education to the students.
Candidate must be a graduate of any recognized university and should have studied an optional subject of the same discipline. Admisisons are based on the score obtained in the Karnataka PGCET.
There are various government scholarships, UGC commission scholarships, and various company scholarships you can get the benefit of. College does not provide the scholarships or loan.
