Course Curriculum Overview

It's a good course to choose as we can select different opportunity after graduation like banking forest officer teaching and many more We have to prepare for entrance to get a government job and it also promotes entrepreneurs

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many intership opportunities are provided to students and some of the companies are ICICI Bank HDFC Bank and other agricultural companies they will select the students based on there academic performance and interview and communicative skills

Fees and Financial Aid

180000 yearly and the course is of 4 years so total 720000 in total and additional 10000 caution fees which is returned in last year and additional money for dress and other fines if u harm the property

Campus Life

Campus Life is very good all the festivals are celebrated and many functions and other events are also conducted periodically seminars are also done and freshers farewell flash mob are also conducted for students

Admission

I had already made mindset to read in soa as it is one of the famous and designated college in our area with all types of facilities and to pursue agriculture it is best in odisha after ouat and is ranked among top colleges

Faculty

Faculty are very good friendly and effective teaching is done they provide notes and also use projector for better understanding In one year 2 semester are there followed by 2 mid term exam and 2 final exam

Night Life

It has a cafeteria a small park to sit and the hostel timing for boys is 9 pm and for girls it is 6 pm after that u need your parents permission to go outside the campus. There are many places nearby to visit and enjoy and varities of food are present near

B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture is one of the important and relevant subjects out of all. If we say about Indian context then most of the people are dependent on agriculture. So in India it's relevance is very high. This curriculum consists all type of subjects like agronomy, soil science, economics, marketing, pathology,genetics and breeding, horticulture etc. this course is more based on practical than the theory. In our curriculum the mid sem occurs in the middle of the semester which is approx march in winter semester and in September- october in monsoon semester and the end semester exam held in end of the semester which is in December in monsoon semester and may in winter semester.

The most honest one!

Course Curriculum Overview:

I generally loved how they showed they give 100% placements. But there is not any. The teaching methods however is very good as they give us mainly practical knowledge and skill based education. Which really helps.

Everything happens for a reason

Course Curriculum Overview:

As India is a agricultural country most people depends on agriculture so I choose this course that I think it might have more scope. Through this course, we covered both theory and practice; we planted crops, prepared the field, applied manure to the soil, and irrigated the field. The difficulty is not too hard, and there are about 4 exams in a year, which is very good. In this course we must visit the village and interact with village people know their problems and try to find solutions. In our college we are less interactive with village farmers.

My first impression of the college I chose

I applied in vit chennai , lpu , kiit , and vit bhopal . I got confirmed admission from all the colleges but i chose this college as it was in my hometown and the rating and education background of the college was impressible. No i didnt get any rejection from any college i applied. The admission process includes online application which is free of cost. Then a college admission examination called as saat with minimum cutoff of 60% . And then in campus registration for the course . Most preffered exams are saat and cuet or jee .
