Course Curriculum Overview

3

I generally loved how they showed they give 100% placements. But there is not any. The teaching methods however is very good as they give us mainly practical knowledge and skill based education. Which really helps.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for bsc ( hons) agriculture is 1,80,000 per year. It is the same for all categories of students. You have to give security fees 5000 at the time of admission. And there is no tuition fees or any such kind of fees. And for admission you have to give a test SAAT.

Campus Life

4

We have SAC ( SOA agri confluence) which happens every 2 years There is ARNAA that happens every year and is really good. It generally happens on March. And in ganesh puja and Saraswati puja we have cultural programmes. There are a lot of books available in library. There are a lot of sports events like soa cup & spardha. There are a lot of clubs for dance, photography, etc. And to be only the campus life is very good.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel provide a large cupboard and bed and good working celling fan. The room is cleaned everyday by workers. The washrooms are very clean and spacious. Rooms are very spacious. The menu however is average. You can register for hostel at the time of admission it self. There a lot of houses that provide rent near the campus as well

Admission

I applied on ouat and centurian. But I couldn't pass ouat and the educational factor in centurian is not that great therefore i didn't go there and choose this college. Yes i got rejected from ouat because i couldn't pass there minimum required marks. The admission process is very simple. The only exam accepted here is SAAT for admission. Otherwise you have to pay a huge amount around 2 lakhs if you dont appear SAAT and directly take admission. The cutoff is very low its around 70%.

Faculty

4

The faculties are enough for every subject and fields. The young faculties generally have a more friendly relationship with students than the older ones . The best faculty according to me is poonam ma'am. The HODs of every subs are generally the rudest ones. As they are ouat retired professors they don't generally mend up with students. The exams are really easy and very less students fail the exams.

Night Life

1

There is no night life for girls . There are no gym . Hostel timings for girls is- 6 pm For boys its -9 pm. There is no such hanging spots here but we can chill in front of campus 2 of soa that is not so far from campus 4.

So in India it's relevance is very high. This curriculum consists all type of subjects like agronomy, soil science, economics, marketing, pathology, genetics and breeding, horticulture etc. this course is more based on practical than the theory. Course Curriculum Overview:

As India is a agricultural country most people depends on agriculture so I choose this course that I think it might have more scope. Through this course, we covered both theory and practice; we planted crops, prepared the field, applied manure to the soil, and irrigated the field. The difficulty is not too hard, and there are about 4 exams in a year, which is very good. In this course we must visit the village and interact with village people know their problems and try to find solutions. In our college we are less interactive with village farmers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture course is highly vast and informative. This course actually provides economic knowledge about the food we consume in our daily life and also provides the information about how they are grown and taken care of by our hardworking farmers. And talking about the difficulty level it's actually easy and we just have to get involved in this course as much as we can. Improvement this course requires is to give proper guidance to our farmers and also to provide them with proper wages they deserve.
