I liked the college infrastructure and hostel
The faculties here are very nice and humble
The practical classes are gud we get good practical knowledge

Dislikes

I do not personally like the behaviour of hostel wardens
The hostel is very strict and do not follow the rulebook
Placement is not that high as expected here

I was interested in plant science therefore I decided to take this course...In my opinion the college should give students a better view of placements and opportunities and teach how to be successful in those fields

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester fees is 90000 which will be 180000 for a year for bsc agriculture in soa university.The fees may increase with different academic year..But I am paying this amount There are quotas and scholarships

Campus Life

Various fests and annual functions are held here every year...Arnaa and soa agri confluence are two of our main fests that is conducted every year with full enthusiasm.Various other fests are also conducted that make the campus life energetic.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fees is 150000 for ac room and 90000 for non ac.The mess food is not that great but not that bad.The wardens are good but the hostel is very very strict regarding in time and dressing sense

I chose this college because the reviews of this college is quite good in comparison to other colleges in my state..I gave an entrance called the soa admission test through which I got into this college

The faculty to student ratio is gud...many experienced faculties are present here I personally like the economics and agronomy department faculties..The exams are conducted with strictness and well maintained rules and regulations

B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture is one of the important and relevant subjects out of all. If we say about Indian context then most of the people are dependent on agriculture. So in India it's relevance is very high. This curriculum consists all type of subjects like agronomy, soil science, economics, marketing, pathology,genetics and breeding, horticulture etc. this course is more based on practical than the theory. In our curriculum the mid sem occurs in the middle of the semester which is approx march in winter semester and in September- october in monsoon semester and the end semester exam held in end of the semester which is in December in monsoon semester and may in winter semester.

The most honest one!

Course Curriculum Overview:

I generally loved how they showed they give 100% placements. But there is not any. The teaching methods however is very good as they give us mainly practical knowledge and skill based education. Which really helps.

Everything happens for a reason

Course Curriculum Overview:

As India is a agricultural country most people depends on agriculture so I choose this course that I think it might have more scope. Through this course, we covered both theory and practice; we planted crops, prepared the field, applied manure to the soil, and irrigated the field. The difficulty is not too hard, and there are about 4 exams in a year, which is very good. In this course we must visit the village and interact with village people know their problems and try to find solutions. In our college we are less interactive with village farmers.

My first impression of the college I chose

I applied in vit chennai , lpu , kiit , and vit bhopal . I got confirmed admission from all the colleges but i chose this college as it was in my hometown and the rating and education background of the college was impressible. No i didnt get any rejection from any college i applied. The admission process includes online application which is free of cost. Then a college admission examination called as saat with minimum cutoff of 60% . And then in campus registration for the course . Most preffered exams are saat and cuet or jee .
