Course Curriculum Overview
The college is in vicinity to the place I live so was somewhat familiar with the institute. I wanted to study western medicine / allopathy. Couldn't get MBBS through NEET , so BDS was the second best option I was left with to make an indivitualistic existence in the field of medicine. The course curriculum is upto the mark. But without the professors' personal insight , professional experience and processed information the syllabus , books or the curriculum is far from incomplete. Areas of improvement would be constantly trying to update the college as much as possible , which they must be trying to do , as I like to see changes around me. The timings and areangement in exams are determined by reliable faculties so its something I wish to get familair with.
Internships Opportunities
You get to work under and with the very professors who taught you which is a very auspicious experience. You get a lot of insight doing this. The professors can put you under spotlight or expose you to new experience , or projects , or opportunities , or as a helping hand in their own works which can be a special chance.

No , I didn't opt for any other college. The process of getting admission is - Score good marks in NEET UG exam after completing your 12th from a recognized board. Register for JCECEB counselling . Apply for this college in counselling. Fill the registration and security fees as required. If you qualify , you will get an allotment letter. Bring this and other documents mentioned in the allotment letter to the college , at student section on left side at 2nd floor in dental college.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio would be around 1:9. The faculty are strict and disciplinarian , but approachable when requested. My favourite faculties would be my DADH teachers as they are the ones we are getting most familiar with in our first year. I like the department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery the most , so I aspire to be like the faculties in that department. I am not familiar with all the faculties in my college now , the faculties I have most encountered till now ( DADH ) , I found them to be supportive. There are three internal exams and one university exam every year , to the best of my knowlege. These are held at regular intervals throughout the year. The marks of internals are included in the final university exam which you need to pass to go to next year. You are required to pass in theory and practical separately with minimum 50% marks. The exams are difficult unless you get familiar with them and adapt to know how to study , write and speak.
Night Life
The first years are not allowed outside late at night but otherwise everything is fine. We celebrate birthdays together and organize ocassional meetups at night in someone's room. We can order from the cafeteria most of the times and they kindly deliver to our rooms.
