Remarks

Positive remarks:Good infrastructure, Good staff, Good environment, Good patient flow(, but it needs a hike up) Negative remark:I observed some gender partiality when it comes to practicals including viva marks

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course itself is good, but, since i had also choosen it by myself. it was like an icing on the cake. so i enjoy it a lot. and i passed every semester with good grades. Medicine has always been my favourite.

Placement Experience

3.5

Since i went through one year rotatory internship in Government Dental college srinagar. i don't have any idea regarding the intership scenario of the college when it comes to placements. one can get a job in the same college after passing through an interview.

College Events

4

We used to celebrate some events like teacher's day, Saraswati puja, Chatt puja and Annual festival Annual festival has been a memorable one. we used to enjoy a lot in annual festiv. there used to be events related to various fields like sports viz cricket, kabddi, badminton cultural including singing and dancing competition etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since i got admission through prime minister's special scholarship scheme i have no idea regarding fee structure. we weren't supposed to pay anthing. central government used to pay our tution and hostel fee

Fees and Financial Aid

No, i was not provided any kind of scholarship by the college. Rather it was provided by central government through prime minister special scholarship scheme i have no idea regarding any loan facility or scholarship by the college.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio was approximately (Boys:Girls)=40:60 we enjoyed a lot of dj parties. especially during annual festivals. I didn't observe any kind of racial discrimination And there were students from all around the country

Hostel Facilities

4

i was a hostler. And i think it's the hostel life which one really misses after completion of the course than anything else. Hostel rooms were well ventillated, infrastructure was good we were supposed to share our rooms with one the students of our choice

Alumni/Alumna

personally during the period of course i didn't believe in any kind of interaction with seniors. but yes, off course they were supportive when approached for any kind of help. whether it was lending books or helping in patient arrangement and management

Admission

I was interested medicine and i got admission in this college through prime minister special scholarship scheme, I got admission in 2013 and i have completed my bachelor's degree. Now looking forward to get admission in mds in any govt. College

Faculty

4

Faculty is good. There are teachers /Doctor's from all around the country. well qualified and well mannered also. they are very supportive. But when it comes to professional course. one needs to do everything by himself/herself. whether it's matter of studies or practice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is in vicinity to the place I live so was somewhat familiar with the institute. I wanted to study western medicine / allopathy. Couldn't get MBBS through NEET , so BDS was the second best option I was left with to make an indivitualistic existence in the field of medicine. The course curriculum is upto the mark. But without the professors' personal insight , professional experience and processed information the syllabus , books or the curriculum is far from incomplete. Areas of improvement would be constantly trying to update the college as much as possible , which they must be trying to do , as I like to see changes around me. The timings and areangement in exams are determined by reliable faculties so its something I wish to get familair with.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One thing of my college is very bad . My college is very back in technology and instruments used in our college as compare to today's life All the facilities teach thorough the power point(ppt). But some teach from text book. Many faculty tell to buy new books of particular topic and they did not allow library books

Course Curriculum Overview:

BDS is a good carrier option as you get the title of a doctor . A lot of practice will shape you as practice makes a doctor perfect and as here in this college is a very good patient flow... That really helps to make you a good dentist.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is followed well. But sudden changes in the rules are managed very badly where the students have to suffer like they created a supplementary batch from 2020 batch onwards. Exams are conducted well and the difficulty level is good. The curriculum definitely prepares us for the real world applications as we do a lot if patients under the guidance of our professors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This BDS degree is highly specific in my vision because yiu have to deal with a patient having a particular location or area's problem. There is slightly need for the improvement in clinical areas as in some department there is lack of the presence of faculties. So talking about exams, here 3 internal assessment is taken within the duration of 3 months gap and after that one university exam is conducted the session range between 9-10months and the difficulty is moderate.
