Academics and faculties and professors ..
The classroom .. and SGD classes .. and our academic building
Our stadium , our campus , our hostel and our ground

Dislikes

Lack of water filter instead we have to pay for water
Lack of canteen ( common ) for boys and girls
Lack of coordination between different departments

Course Curriculum Overview

The current mode of our curriculum is CBME based that is competency based which has lessen the quantity of syllabus of mbbs course . This made the work of professors easy and the we as a students easily understand any topic and is easy for us in exam too .

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 400 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes the internship is the part of our 5.5 years of MBBS course . And in RIMS with huge inflow of patients daily . We will surely get imense knowledge in whatever department we'll posted . As rims has many departments

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is minimal for girls just 400 yearly and 3500 yearly hostel fees we paid !! So it's just minimal amount that we r paying to the administration and RIMS Ranchi . although our proff fees is 5000/- annually

Campus Life

Indeed in medical college it is considered that we don't usually get any campus life , but in rims we get intense freedom , peace ????, chill , environment and our annual fest Palash we enjoy a lot . Although sometimes the campus become toxic but being in medical college it seems to be ok .

Hostel Facilities

The hostel which I am allotted is good , good in infrastructure, cleanliness, accommodation, environment, surroundings, sanitation, . And the charges which I paid is minimal it's just 3500/- annually.

Admission

I choose this college over others as I manifested this college from my heart and head . And being the apex medical college of state like Jharkhand, it will give me intense patients exposure in my internship days . And I will enhance my knowledge from all corners

Faculty

The faculty members are very experienced and knowledgeable.. they share a very good bond between the students and themselves. They teach us very warmly and they make any subject interesting for us ...

Night Life

I live in girls hostel so my last entry time is around 10:00 pm . Which is good as far as considering today's scenario and safety for girls . So I m just ok with it . But for boys there is no such entry time in hostel .

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is no such specific aspects of curriculum that influenced me to choose this course, I choosed because I'm intrested in this field. I think couse curriculum and teaching method can be improved by adding some technical knowledge into medical field. The frequency of exam is good. Difficultly level is medium which is good for us.

Mbbs is a long duration course of about 5.5 years in which there is 1 year of compulsory internship.being a doctor is the noble profession and gives you huge respect and that's why i choose this course,this was me and my parents dream as well.this curriculum prepares you to face upcoming challenges that you have to face as a doctor.i think practical work should be more instead of just bookish knowledge.there is 3 terminals in a regular interval of 3 months and then final exams.

My experience with My college

Course Curriculum Overview:

No doubt about it, the teaching we get here is a combo of theory, practicals and real life based, where theory part is covered by books and how our faculties found that part in the patients like certain complications.

No , I didn't opt for any other college. The process of getting admission is - Score good marks in NEET UG exam after completing your 12th from a recognized board. Register for JCECEB counselling . Apply for this college in counselling. Fill the registration and security fees as required. If you qualify , you will get an allotment letter. Life at Dental Institute, RIMS

Being the only government college in Jharkhand to offer Bachelors in Dental Surgery is the biggest of all the pros for RIMS. It is more difficult to get into RIMS than other colleges as there is more competition and allotment is via ranks obtained in NEET examination.
