I applied to various IIT'S and top Nit's including the likes of IIT Bombay, IIT MADRAS, IIT DELHI, IIT HYDERABAD, IIIT HYDERABAD, NIT WARANGAL... AND MANY MORE. The reason I chose bits hyderabad was because it was in proximity to my house and I was getting a really good course in a top college. I applied to various other colleges. But I faced rejection in a few because of cut off issues and I had no reservation. Bits hyderabad was the best option i could find which checked out all boxes and hence I took admission here. To get admission into Bids hyderabad , you have to write BitSAT which is a national exam which is a 390 marks paper. 3 to 4 lakh people attempt the exam. 250 out off 390 is a safe score to get into the college and to get a top branch (like cse, ece or eee) 280 is a safe score

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.
