Course Curriculum Overview :

I am a Ph.D scholar therefore I do not face the course curriculum. Based on the review by Bachelors and Masters students course curriculum is sufficient to cover all the topics in the field with practical knowledge included.

Placement Experience :

T&P cell of the institute works regularly to ensure proper placement of their students. Students become eligible from their 3rd year to enroll in placement sessions. Big companies like Wipro, Tata etc. comes to hire students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Academic fees-40000 Rs. per year Hostel fess-40000 Rs. per year (increase by 2000 rs per year) Mess fees-50000 Rs. per year (yearly bill will be more than 50000 Rs. per year so in the end it will always be negative) Ph.D scholars recieve and institute fellowship of Rs. 15000 per month

Campus Life :

Institue provides many cultural clubs for every extra curricular activity. Institute also organize 2 fests in a year i.e; Bitotsav in month of march and Pantheon in september. Library access to students is also very easy and includes large no. of books to enhance knowledge. Institute also have a sports complex for each sport with a gym. Sports championship is also organized by institute.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is very good with proper cleaning, stable internet, water and electricity connection. Only cons is quality of the food served in mess. Cooks are good but too lazy to make proper food. If any student want to opt for hostel facility they will be alloted every year after the admission process.

Admission :

I have applied for other colleges (BBAU, Lucknow) and (Purvanchal University, Jaunpur) for Ph.D. I was not able to qualify the entrance exam. I chose BIT mesra because it comes in the top engineering colleges in India. Admission process includes a entrance exam followed by an interview.

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is good and every faculty is very supportive towards the student. Each faculty has their own specialization and good experience. Mid sem and end sem exam are conducted with multiple quiz and assignments depending on the subjects.

Interview Experience :

Written test was based on the topics in biotech field such as RDT, genetics, plant biotech etc. This depend on the department in which you want to pursue Ph.D. There was no GD only interview after written test which includes general questions to check knowledge of the student. One can study the same syllabus for NET to crack entrance exam.

Admission:

The students have to go go through a cutoff as the the admission is merit based. Students who are good in academic and have scored well in their Masters program are qualified for applying. When I applied I found that the admission was not as easy as I thought. You need to have really good marks to get in.

Placement Experience:

No the college does not have any placements of job opportunities inside the campus but the professors prepare the students for internships and interviews so that they can do good in outside world and easily get jobs.
