Course are made as per csir net syllabus,that's why I love and choose this course in Assam University And it aslo reflect real life experience like tour and some projects works Areas for improvement to include some more topics from csir net syllabus

The total fees is approx 36000 and year wise nearly about 18000 1. University Development Fund 1500.00 2 Library Fee 500.00 3 Transportation fee 3000.00 4 Sports Fee 150.00 5 Basic Primary Health Service 250.00 6 Medical Insurance 320.00 7 Students Co-curricular Fund 350.00 The same fees as I paid is my batchmate Nsp and Nmms scholarship are available but didn't get any one of those Monthly 5000 approx in NSP scholarship And Nmms 500 8 Students Aid Fund 300.00 9 Alumni Fee 100.00 10 Magazine Fee 150.00 11 Study tour/ Industry visit 0.00 12 Laboratory Fee 2000.00 13 Computer Lab. & internet fee 100.00 14 Annual course fee 2500.00 15 Tuition Fees 3600.00 16 School Development Fund 500.00 17 Department Development Fund 500.00 Total 15,820.00

Campus Life :

Overall campus life is amazing From annual festival Auskriti to scientia to aukriti Typically from January to December in a gap of 2/3 months all events are held Different books are available but not all those foreign book available Facilities are good e-board are there but there are some problem of electricity All types of sports are held and are played different programmes

Admission :

First of all it was a central university and It offer life science course which is the eligibility to appear net exam And also the distance from home of course Compare with other universities,our university give us good marks Admission process through cuet

Faculty :

Faculty are good,some published research paper and they are among 2% of top world scientist in recent times news 3internal are there which are about 30 marks And final also there 70 marks Faculty to students ratio is 10:6

Assam University through my vision

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and curriculum are good but it has no importance in own state for which the students have to go to the other states for their higher qualification and to get a stable job. It boosts the level of knowledge and intelligence in students.

An inside look at Assam University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the course is relevant in every aspect. It included everything necessary for any competitive exams. They take presentations, make us do assignments, take us to study trips. The curriculum is doing very well in making us prepare for the real World. I think study trips should be increased and given utmost importance. There were 4 semesters in 2 years, so each semester in 6 months. The questions were relevant and important.

Entrance Preview:

IIT JAM, with 180 rank and got IIT Guwahati in first cutoff. So, after discussed with my parents, teachers, I go for IIT-G only.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good and being a part of M.Sc. course got offer from most of the college universities, like MDU, Guwahati university etc. Also, some students got admission in Phd after clearing GATE/NET exam with very good score.
