Remarks :

Our university provides many courses for eligible students. The extracurricular activities are organised from time to time here. It provides an atmosphere for learning and grows ourself.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose an M.Sc in Computer Science 2-year program. The course is designed for those students who interested in the fields of computer.

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunities were well for Computer Science students to compare then other students. The university is invited companies such as Thyrocare, Vodafone, ABC Business Solutions, Unisys, Taj Group of Hotels, Reliance communication Pvt Ltd, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure was very affordable for M.Sc in Computer Science students. The fee was around 17000 rupees annually included the Tuition fee, Admission fee, Exam fee Registration fee, and all other fees.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities included some games and lab periods in which we do our work or gain our skills by learning different techniques from different students as each one is good at something.

Admission :

The admission was done by a simple test and personal interview on the basis of my graduation marks. I applied online for admission in this course. The admission process is simple here.

Faculty :

The faculty members are impressive and some are quite great. The maximum faculty members have done their PhD. You can depend on them for your high preparation.

Assam University through my vision

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and curriculum are good but it has no importance in own state for which the students have to go to the other states for their higher qualification and to get a stable job. It boosts the level of knowledge and intelligence in students.

An inside look at Assam University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the course is relevant in every aspect. It included everything necessary for any competitive exams. They take presentations, make us do assignments, take us to study trips. The curriculum is doing very well in making us prepare for the real World. I think study trips should be increased and given utmost importance. There were 4 semesters in 2 years, so each semester in 6 months. The questions were relevant and important.

Entrance Preview:

IIT JAM, with 180 rank and got IIT Guwahati in first cutoff. So, after discussed with my parents, teachers, I go for IIT-G only.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good and being a part of M.Sc. course got offer from most of the college universities, like MDU, Guwahati university etc. Also, some students got admission in Phd after clearing GATE/NET exam with very good score.
