Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is designed same as all colleges. They teach you 6-7 subjects in one semester, and take semester exams and they also take mid term exams. The marking scheme is 26 marks in mid terms and 50 marks in end term and rest 24 marks for class performance like assignment, tests. And also we have 75% attendance criteria for exams.

Class Size : 93Course Fees : INR 78000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are very less here not enough to all students. Which students perform good in class and college get these opportunities but which one is not doing good enough not get it. So here you need to do hard work to get a opportunity.

Placement Experience :

From 7th semester students are allowed to sit in placements. And the package offers are very good like last year in 2024 some metallurgical students get 30 lpa packages. And also a good number of students get job in PSU through GATE exam.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Hi, my name is atul kumar sutrakar. Iam currently studying in NIT Srinagar, this institution has a very good environment of study, also in some last years we got many GATE exam toppers from here, and also very good packages we got from here.

Campus Life :

The social environment is very good here in campus. You can allowed to talk to girls and work as a team also. You are free to do anything. Here we have many clubs to join in which you are interested you can join free of cost.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is not good enough beacuse of sortage of land. I got a room here in chenab hostel and here in a room stays 5 boys. But they are working on this problem and they are making a mega hostel thats capacity is 3500 to 4000 students at a time.

Hostel Fee : INR 4500 per year

Admission :

I choose this college because i here i get a opportunity to join the family of NITians. And also i get better job opportunity and good alumni network which helps me anywhere, anytime. And also the location of this college is a major reason for me to choose this college over any other colleges.

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is good enough. And bonding between students and teachers are also good, you are just a step away to grab any apportiunity. The course is very old type. You need to learn things by himself no one teach you anything in one time. And the exam is good enough to test yourself.

An Honest Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science is an interesting course with a good job opportunity. The exams however are exhausting, not that difficult but exhausting. The question papers are prepared by the faculty itself and papers are checked by the faculty too.

IUST is not as bad as it seems.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible from 7th semister for the university placements. There are various companies that visit the university like TCS, Airtel, Jio, Infosys, etc. Some students do get placed at packages of around 5 LPA. My plans are to develop skills and apply for jobs outside university placements.

NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth

Placement Experience:

I think the students become eligible for placements after 6 th semester, if you are from CS / IT then you'll get enough opportunities for yourself... I know 8-9 seniors who have grabbed a pretty decent package from companies like Oracle If somehow you fail to get recruited on campus then i guess the off campus option is open for all I am pretty satisfied with the placement record atleast for IT The percentage placement for this year CSE was 51 considering recession part this seems good to me

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically the faculty also does not know what questions will be in the external exams, so they need to cover whole syllabus and 4 months are not sufficient to cover the whole syllabus. I did not learn any practical thing there so it was the worse decision of my life to join the course. The curriculum only prepares you to handle the pressure and makes you really strong. "What will happen with 1 backlog now" They first need to know what is important and what can they skip. Timings were good but the last 2 semisters were taken in 8 months that was difficult to manage

Life in SMVDU

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is not same every year . I didn't get placement and almost majority students do not get placement of my batch in all streams it's also because of the recession going in our country. But the companies that come here took girls only their focus was to balance girls and boys ratio in their office so companies were taking girls only very few boys were placed . Less than 50% students were palced from my stream. Highest package was of 10 lakhs and 4 students were placed in that company with a contract of 5 years only others were placed at an average package of 5-6 lakhs

• B.e./B.Tech is one the most popular course, i prefer this course with an idea of securing well paid job after completion of this professional degree. Also i was good in mathematics and science from the childhood. • SSM College is a private university with multiple campuses in India. It is known for its large student population and expansive academic programs. However, specific data on the faculty-to-student ratio may vary across different campuses and departments within the university.It can contribute to a better learning experience and individualized support for students. • Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching / research /industry of which 2 years post PhD experience is desirable. • Use multiple sources of data for each course. • Mid term exams were on time after completing 2 chapters from all subject. It is done before Major exams.It is easy to pass mid term exams as it is of 50 marks and pass marks is just 20
