Remarks :

I have only positive remarks about our college. There is a rule in our college. If any junior is found having something in any restaurant or hotel or canteen seniors should even pay for him. The sports, labs and extracurricular activities here are very good. We have almost all types of sports. We even have a swimming pool and squash court. The labs here are great. The lab devices and instruments are in good working condition.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My opinion about the Course Curriculum is we have Two semesters in the First year. Hard Sem and easy Sem Hard Sem has subjects like Mechanics, Electricals, Maths, Physics, Engineering drawing Easy Sem has subjects like English, Electronics, Computer Science, Maths, Chemistry The exam structure is we have in one semester two exam mid sem and end Sem.

Placement Experience :

I am still in the first year. The placements here are very good Only very few branches here are having less than 60% placements. Computer Science placements are very good here with the highest percentage.

College Events :

In a single year there are many fests held in our college. This year we had Khanan (mining departments fest), Concerto( computer department fest), Vibhav (Electrical Department fest), Basant (where we invite the batch of 50 years ago this year we had invited 1969 batch ) and Srijan (annual cultural fest)

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is feasible. The tuition fee per semester is 1 lakh For one semester it is 46500 rs for those students whose annual income is less than 1 lakh,for the students whose annual income is between 1 lakh and 5 lakhs two-third of the tuition fees is remissioned and for the students whose annual income is more than 5 lakhs they have pay total 1 lakh 46500 rs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We have MCM Scholarship from the institution. We even have ISMAANA. ISMAANA is an alumni organization for graduates of the Indian School of Mines residing in North America. Only a few eligible students will get MCM and ISMAANA scholarship. I have availed of the MCM scholarship.

Campus Life :

The sports, labs and extracurricular activities here are very good. We have almost all types of sports. We even have a swimming pool and squash court. The labs here are great. The lab devices and instruments are in good working condition.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, I opted for the Hostel. The hostel provides us with LAN and WiFi both. 2 students in a room. The infrastructure is quite good. We have a lift in the hostel. Our hostel can accommodate around 2500 students. The food is good.

External Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, they are very helpful. Will provide help and support to many of our clubs by donating money and even necessary items. They sponsor money for the different fests of our college. Senior students here are very helpful. They are very friendly to us. They will provide the materials required for our classes and clarifies our doubts regarding any activities in the college.

Faculty :

The faculty here are very good. Unlike other colleges, the lectures here will clarify our doubts even they feel free to explain once again if we go to their chamber. They have achieved many awards in different fields of their work. I am very proud of them.

Students become eligible after the third year for the placement there are many companies which visited the colleges like TCS, Tata companies, students getting 85% all are getting well placed and the average package of the students is 7 lakh per annum.

AMITY - A perfect path providers for the tech beginners

Placement Experience:

As a student of the 4th year program, one can be eligible for placements after 6th sem or by passing 3rd year and after 4th sem/2nd year, students of 3rd year program are eligible for placement processes. almost 150 companies had visited this year and around 500 students are placed in many companies like cognizant, byjus, TCS, Deloitte etc. maximum package offered is 11 LPA and the average package is around 3.5-4 LPA. on a personal note, I want to pursue MTech after BTech, so for me, these placement record somehow not matters but if someone wants to go for higher studies, this college is best suited for them as because it provides all necessary things by which you can easily get into top IIITs.

Honest Review of BIT Sindri through a BITian

Placement Experience:

In BIT Sindri, placements are good. In my college students are eligible from 3rd year to sit on-campus placement. They can also go for internships from the first year itself. Around 50+ companies visited in the year 2020. This is a little bit less due to covid 19. Some of the companies that visit regularly are Tata Steel, Vedanta, Aditya Birla group, TCS, TCS digital, Ericsson, etc. Highest package is 13 lakhs p.a being offered by Tata steel and the average package is around 6 lakhs p.a. Here around 50 to 60 percent of students are placed each year. In 2024 I will get my degree. My future plans are that I will give GATE exam. I want to be in under 100 rank so that I could get a job in PSUs or get MTech admission in IITs.

Remarks:

Faculty is good and the course curriculum is also good.every possible help is provided by the college.Teaching quality and lab are all good.One thing bad is that we don't have our own permanent campus. The college is running in 3 diffrent rented buildings.
