Course Curriculum Overview :

I think if I did my B Tech from Uit , I would be in a good position after my degree . There are internships programs that make you capable of standing in real world applications. Their should be some changes in labs they need to upgrade them . And a good space is needed too . Exams are of engineering level but faculty prepare us good to stand them .

Class Size : 86Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are internship program and placeme Cell team that conduct the internships and all with companies and other institutions too like IIT Mandi and so on . I don't have a good information regarding this .

Placement Experience :

Companies do come to our college for placements. And students become eligible for campus placement after 7 semester . And after completing their degree they are placed to companies . 40% students get placement every year .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I'm paying approx 1 lakh per year and approx 50000 Thousand per sem . There is no other fees excluding tuition fees . And only for applying examination form they charge us 2000 rs . For EWS , SC and single girl child half tuition waiver ie, they have to pay only half of the money we're paying and for disable people , full fees waiver .

Campus Life :

Campus is short but good . They arrange every possible activity possible . The annual fest is conducted in odd semesters named " UTKARSH" , thing for what UIT is quite famous . Apart from this they conduct sports meet .

Admission :

I applied for this college because it was in my hometown and I always wanted to do this course so I thought it's a great opportunity, so I applied for entrance exam and passed it . I didn't applied to any other college

Faculty :

Faculty is gentle , humble and so cooperative toward students . They are approachable too . I like our coordinator because he's more understanding as compared to others . They conduct mainly 8 exams and their level is engineering level .

Night Life :

There is everything around our campus . Summerhill is quite like a town . Transport system is good . Buses are their for all the time . University buses are their too . Their is a railway station near to our college , a police station and a dispensary too. Some famous hangout places near our college are - Potter's hill , Chadwick falls and railway station.

College is good if you only want degree at affordable cost but its not for you if you want to enjoy your college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculam is not good. Focus is more on theory rather than on Practical knowledge. Students have to study on their own to be industrial ready. Students study through online and offline courses to be ready to work in industry. Course curriculum doesn't prepares us for the real-world applications, we have to learn it all by our own. There are two sessional exams in middle of every semester conducted by college itself and one final exam at the end of semester conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Technical University.

NIT Hamirpur- The campus that feels like heaven.

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th sem are eligible for placements. The highest package offered last year was 1.7 CPA. Around 80% of the students get placed here.Companies like Amazon, Samsung,Paytm,TCS, IBM, Infosys,Oracle, Accenture, Bloomberg etc often visit here.

Placement Experience:

Usually in 4th year several companies approach the college for hiring the students. There's a good placement rate every year for the college. Average salary package of the college last year went upto 6.5LPA .Further students are hired accordingly to their performance in the interview.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had completed a diploma in civil engineering that's why I was looking for a college to do my degree. The overall experience here was not on the good side due to many reasons. First, you'll find many teachers who'll come and teach here for 6 months and leave. So the quality of teaching cannot be assured since teachers are changing almost every semester. Exams and midterms were held timely even if they haven't taught you anything about a particular subject.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good the best placement is of the CSE branch. The Average package is about 5-6 lakh and the highest package is 20-25 lakh. It is all about your skills and the knowledge you have gained in your whole college life. Rest placement is good about 100-200 companies come every year.
