  • Some students find the administrative process, such as handling paperwork or resolving issues, to be slow or cumbersome. Efficient handling of administrative tasks and timely responses could enhance the overall student experience.
  • The cost of education at Amity University can be relatively high compared to other institutions. In some programs, class sizes can be large, which may limit personalized attention from faculty and impact the overall learning experience.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The BBA curriculum at Amity University includes a broad range of subjects, including management principles, finance, marketing, HR, and entrepreneurship. This comprehensive approach and availability of specializations allow students to tailor their education according to their interests and career goals. The curriculum incorporates practical components such as case studies, industry projects, and internships. The curriculum is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Projects, presentations, and internships provide hands-on experience and help in applying concepts learned in class to real business situations. There could be more emphasis on interactive and practical exposure. Strengthening ties with industry leaders and incorporating more guest lectures, workshops, and real-world case studies from current industry practices would provide additional insights and practical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are often unpaid and are offered by Amity after second-year exams. Projects and outcomes depend on the role you get in your internship and what tasks is company provides you and asks you to do.

Placement Experience :

From 5 semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Some companies visited Amity are Nestle, Deloitte, etc. Highest package is of 6 lakh with average package of 3 lakh. Approx, 40% students get placed. My plans is to enter the corporate to get industry experience.

Fees and Financial Aid :

First year fees: 3,00,000 Second year fess: 3,20,000 Third year fees: 3,50,000 Complete course fees: 9,70,000 , it is increasing. Student can get scholarship based on their 12 marks for first year and to continue scholarship for 2 and 3 year student have to be in top 3 students of batch after every year results.

Campus Life :

Many events and fests happen in Amity like AYF, Sangathan, etc. There are well-rounded books available in the library. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, whiteboards and ACs. There are all type of sports and extracurricular activities offered in Amity like Cricket, Basketball, Football, Badminton, etc. Yes, there are clubs like dance, music, sport, drama, etc.

Admission :

I didn't apply to any other college, Amity was the first college I applied to. I chose this college because it is one of the best private colleges for my course and it aligns with my needs. You have to have (10+2) pass to get admission at Amity with a minimum of 50% marks in (10+2) class.

Faculty :

Amity University maintains a relatively favorable faculty-to-student ratio, allowing for personalized attention in many courses. Faculty members are generally approachable and open to engaging with students. They often provide office hours and are available for discussions outside of regular class times, which supports a collaborative learning environment. Dr. Jyoti Mishra is known for their in-depth knowledge of Business Communication subject. She is appreciated for her engaging teaching style and practical insights. Some faculties have in-depth knowledge of the subject but students don't like them for their less engaging teaching style. Exams are held per semester, two times in a year. Exams are designed to test a range of skills from theoretical to practical. The difficulty level can vary based on the subject and the student's preparedness. The pass rate is generally high, but percentage of students who do not clear exams can vary each semester.

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 5 become eligible for campus selection.Last year some companies came, there was a Bandhan Bank which gave placement to many students but that placement was not very good. If we talk about the highest package, then the highest package of the college is Rs. 12 lakhs and the average package is Rs. 4 to 5 lakhs. My plan is that after completing my BA, I will do MBA online while working.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bba program is well structured with a good mix of theory and practical application. However introducing more specialized electives, hand on learning and modern teaching methods could enhance the program relevance to the real business world. Exams are moderately difficult and spaced out, although some students may find difficult if they don't stay on top of their studies.
