The teachers of the IT department they are so supportive and helped me gain knowledge from outside the course structure.
They are supportive for exams and make everyone get good marks

Dislikes

The classes are too boring and teachers and the course are outdated structure and everything feels boring i mostly skipped the classes.
The labs are too outdated and the chairs of the labs are not comfortable and the machine are of 500mb ram so not useful

Course Curriculum Overview :

I took the course because I wanted to learn coding and programming and make a lot of money . The curriculum is not good for real world applications or any further academic pursuits. To improve focus on self learning, DSA everyday grind and also Developement project The frequency of exam is about 2 months and it's not too difficult any way

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 30000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college is kind of autonomous and semi govt. So every one intrested can get admission easily there is no reservations kind of thing you need to pay 30,000 per year now it has increased I guess but our course fee was total 90,000 for 3 years and there is no hostel for boys and also no scholarship available.

Campus Life :

There is not college program or something no function for the IT department.Its a worse college to enjoy there is no room for outdoor or indoor game.Not a canteen is available and the technology infrastructure is also very bad

Admission :

The rating in this college is so high in google than other colleges so I took this college.But the other colleges are even more worse than this college in Assam .No I have got offers from other colleges also as I have a high percentage in HS I scored 85% . The admission process is simple just pay the fees.

Faculty :

The students and teachers faculty ratio is good and the relationship between them are also good . I mostly like Devkant sir who left college and still I am in touch with him. There was a teacher who taught us DSA from CS department he is one of the worse teacher I ever found.there are 2 exam every semester one sessional and another final. Mostly every one can clear the exams and it's relavent to the course curriculum

My bad Experiences in the College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Not a very good experience with the course structure. The course is very outdated. they even included history, environment studies, etc as subjects in the BCA course, which is very irrelevant. Even the notes, teachings and the curriculums are outdated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course have up to date content and provide practical for each subject. For these reasons I choose this course. The curriculum builds essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical proficiency. And provides a strong foundation for advanced studies or specialization. These factors prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits. Some course curriculum should be improved like real world case studies and interactive learning methods etc. The frequency of exams are good. The seasonal exams are held in mid term of the semester and end of the semester there is Final Exam.

One of the best Institution for BCA course

Placement Experience:

At the time of final years, there are companies like Wipro and TCS who visit campus for placements. The average package is 4 lakhs and the highest package till now is about 8 lakhs. About 30 % of students get placements from BCA courses which is very high according to other colleges. I will choose for MBA or MCA after BCA

Remarks:

Negative remarks aren't seen inside the college. However where is good, there contains evils too. Cotton University has been facing a problem of vandalism done by some drunk students and it's shameful. Inspite of such low percentage of illness, health is very good of this college.
