Likes

The teacher's are quite supportive and they will help you when you need them but they are little bit strict

Dislikes

The campus is too short you will feel when you enter the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Actually I opt for this college because it's was closer to my home I also applied for other colleges as well and got selected but the fees structure and the financial condition didn't allowed me however it's one of the best or I can say the best college under Dibrugarh University in case of the regular classes and experience teachers

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 32000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of the BCA dept is 32000/- yearly which comprises of the 5000/- admission fees and 27000/- tution fees which is divided into 2 semester each costing 13500/- and there is no Kota system in the institute you have to pay the same fees either it's general,OBC or Sc St. There is no scholarship provided from the college you have to apply by yourself into other government or private scholarship for financial support and all my batchmates also pay the same fees as I pay there is no such difference.

Campus Life :

The fresher's function is organised in the month of august for the new commer's in the college after that election is held in the month of September where different students stands for a post and a new college union is made and in the month of December and January the sports week occurs where students participates and then occurs a function after the sport's week.

Admission :

I opt for this college because it was closer to my home and I applied for other colleges as well and got selected but for the fees structure and my financial condition I dropped the plan for going other colleges however it's the best college you can say under dibrugarh university.

Faculty :

The teacher's are less for the students of BCA dept but they can handle nicely and the classes are done regularly you can't miss them if you miss one class you will get scolded so you can't bunk classes. They organise two exams per semester one is session and other is the final...

My bad Experiences in the College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Not a very good experience with the course structure. The course is very outdated. they even included history, environment studies, etc as subjects in the BCA course, which is very irrelevant. Even the notes, teachings and the curriculums are outdated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course have up to date content and provide practical for each subject. For these reasons I choose this course. The curriculum builds essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical proficiency. And provides a strong foundation for advanced studies or specialization. These factors prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits. Some course curriculum should be improved like real world case studies and interactive learning methods etc. The frequency of exams are good. The seasonal exams are held in mid term of the semester and end of the semester there is Final Exam.

One of the best Institution for BCA course

Placement Experience:

At the time of final years, there are companies like Wipro and TCS who visit campus for placements. The average package is 4 lakhs and the highest package till now is about 8 lakhs. About 30 % of students get placements from BCA courses which is very high according to other colleges. I will choose for MBA or MCA after BCA

A Review, Cotton University.

Remarks:

Negative remarks aren't seen inside the college. However where is good, there contains evils too. Cotton University has been facing a problem of vandalism done by some drunk students and it's shameful. Inspite of such low percentage of illness, health is very good of this college.
