There is nothing to like about. I regrade that I went to study there

Everything, professors are not giving any importance to their students.
Security Guards are very rude and speak very impolitely

Course Curriculum Overview :

Not a very good experience with the course structure. The course is very outdated. they even included history, environment studies, etc as subjects in the BCA course, which is very irrelevant. Even the notes, teachings and the curriculums are outdated.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 30000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

30k/yr fees, but many minor fees are needed that are not and can't be included. Since the course is self-financed, you can't get any facility from the college. In the Computer Lab, almost all the computers are in un-working condition; only a handful are working, but they are outdated.

Campus Life :

Don't know about other departments, but our department can't be involved in the campus life, or social aspects inside the college. We are only allowed to participate in the college weeks. Other than that we all are left out.

Admission :

I didn't know that the courses or the curriculums in the course in that college were that bad. From the advertisements and the info gathered from the others who are seniors in different departments, I thought that BCA also will be good.

Faculty :

There are not any capable Faculty members in the BCA department. They do not care about their students' careers. they only know about money. Their teachings and notes are all outdated. The course follows the CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) Syllabus but you cannot choose any of your preferred subjects. They even include History Subject in the BCA course.

Actually I opt for this college because it's was closer to my home I also applied for other colleges as well and got selected but the fees structure and the financial condition didn't allowed me however it's one of the best or I can say the best college under Dibrugarh University in case of the regular classes and experience teachers

The placements over college is very good. Every year there are 100+ companies who visit our university for the placements of graduates, post graduates. If you are unable to get placed into any of these companies then don't worry because there is job fair held in every year in our university where you can apply.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course have up to date content and provide practical for each subject. For these reasons I choose this course. The curriculum builds essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical proficiency. And provides a strong foundation for advanced studies or specialization. These factors prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits. Some course curriculum should be improved like real world case studies and interactive learning methods etc. The frequency of exams are good. The seasonal exams are held in mid term of the semester and end of the semester there is Final Exam.

One of the best Institution for BCA course

Placement Experience:

At the time of final years, there are companies like Wipro and TCS who visit campus for placements. The average package is 4 lakhs and the highest package till now is about 8 lakhs. About 30 % of students get placements from BCA courses which is very high according to other colleges. I will choose for MBA or MCA after BCA

A Review, Cotton University.

Remarks:

Negative remarks aren't seen inside the college. However where is good, there contains evils too. Cotton University has been facing a problem of vandalism done by some drunk students and it's shameful. Inspite of such low percentage of illness, health is very good of this college.
