Remarks :
College management is quite good but they can be better.
Course Curriculum Overview :
No, there was no curriculum groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students & there were no industrial visits organized for the students, So, in this case, the college needs to upgrade themselves so that the students can make their future more bright because of the college.
Placement Experience :
There were no companies visited campus for the placement of the students, But I heard that now the college is really improving itself & also preparing to invite many companies to the campus for placements.
College Events :
Youth festival, College week, Freshers Day these are the main events that are college celebrates, Freshers day one of the best events, Because on this day the new students take parts in many competition like dance, Singing & fashion show. The College union also invites many great local artists to perform in the event &the students really enjoy it.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
I took admission in 2012 & at that time the fee for my course was 8k & 500, I have given them the fee on hand. There were no additional fees to be paid in order to secure admission to my course. & the college does provide absolute transparency in the fee-breakdown.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, the college offered scholarships mainly to the sc & st caste students & who has got a minimum of 60%, To get this scholarship was very easy, The students have to just go to the DC office & get a signature from him on the Scholarship form, & the college authority after verifying the document will give the scholarships to the deserving candidate.
Campus Life :
I won't be able to tell you about the gender ratio, But there was no racial discrimination on the basis of cast, Creed & colour, The students of the college maintained a very friendly atmosphere with each other, All was helpful to each other. There were dance, Singing, Drama, Sports & many debate competitions held in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
Since my house is near the college so I didn't opt for the hostel, But I visit the hostel many times, The hostel rooms & toilets are very clean & hygienic, The authority maintained a very high standard of the hostel, Very good security were also provided, I think the average rentals were 1000.
Alumni/Alumna :
The seniors were just like my friends, They have not shown any superiority & indeed very helpful & loving seniors.
Admission :
From the beginning I wanted to read History hence I choose the arts stream, Secondly, this is the nearest college to my home & I don't want to waste my time travelling for the sake of going to better colleges, So I choose this college, Admission procedure of this college is also very simple, 1. One has to collect the prospectus & admission form, & in the prospectus, every detail of admission & courses are given, So one just need to submit the form with all the required documents & the college authority after checking the form will stick a merit list & One can take admission if he or she is qualified.
Faculty :
There were 5 lecturers in our history department, All of them were above 30 & all of them were MA+Net+slet degree holders & all of them was very good in making understand the base & background of the history that took place. I'm not sure to do they hold any relevant industry-experience or certifications or not.
