- Offers specialised course in leather design, which is unique and niche field. I appreciate the focused curriculum and expert faculty.
- It has modern infrastructure, including well-equipped labs, workshops and studios.
Dislikes
- Raibareli is a small town. No needed facilities are available.
- College is specialised institute with focus curriculum. I found campus life relatively quiet or limited compared to other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is very good and it helps me a lot to grow, it helps me to gain knowledge. In the course there are many industry visits, tannery visits which became very much helpful for me. I also did the internship which was for two months and my mentor helped me a lot because of him only I got that internship. And in that internship I learned a lot of things and it is the best part of course that we students get a chance to gain practical knowledge of the industry.
Internships Opportunities :
I got internship in liberty shoes I was working as a designer and my stipend was 7000 per month. I got various projects there like to design a new shoe per day, trend research, market visits, and many more.
Placement Experience :
From 7 th semester students become eligible for campus placements Liberty, seems tannery, superhouse, etc Highest package is 2400000 average package is 800000 99% students get placements I will do job and after that I will start my own startup
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In 1st semester the fees I paid is 175000 then in 5 th semester the fees is 177900 then in 7 th semester the fess fees is 200950. 7th semester tuition fees- 172850 Library fee 11400 Mediclaim and student development fee 5700 Exam fee 5700 Alumni association membership fee 5300
Campus Life :
We celebrate All the festivals like Holi, Diwali, Navratri, Independence Day, Republic Day, Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi and many more. All kind of book are available in the rc. There is smart tv and the strict security. On every occasion the sport matches are held.
Hostel Facilities :
Facilities provided in room there will be 2 students in one room almirah, fan, lights, beds, cooler, induction, water filter, washrooms, geyser, etc. Meal is good we got to eat various types of meals like Idki dosa, pav bhaji, noodles, Panipuri, dah vada, roti, dal chawal, sabji, dahi, salads, egg curry, chicken curry, chicken biryani, etc. ITI colony
Admission :
I have applied in many colleges of arts or designing I gave many entrance exams but my focus was on nift because nift is one of the very good college for design and fashion. I choose nift because it was my dream. Yes I didn't get the admission in any other college and the real reason behind that is I didn't prepare myself for that. And for nift I did preparation by my self. Admission process of my college, there will be two exams GAT which is general ability test and CAT which means creative ability test if we qualified we have to give the next exam which is situation test in that test they will give us situations and we make 3d model of that situation. And after qualifying exam we will get admission. For admission we have to submit various forms along with medical fitness.
Faculty :
Faculties are good but some are not. They do Partiality. And the relationship between the student's and faculty is very good they guide us very well. My mentor he regularly call me for mentoring. And I am happy with my mentor. There are faculties like if a student goes to them for any queries or anything they didn't understand in the class they are like ask other students, also if student ask for any help they were like who is your mentor? Go and talk with them but if a student wants help from the faculty they should help them. And about the juries sometimes the juries are difficult. Jury members are strict. But there are very few students who failed.
Interview Experience :
Yes entrance exam was held. I gave that exam and I got shortlisted and after that I have submitted my documents and fees then I had my counselling and then I got the campus in which the seats was available.
