Entrance Preview :

Pearl conducts its personal entrance exam and a interview trough which I went. The marks were not revealed, I just got a mail which congratulated me and welcomed me to the course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Each and every course in pearl is structured in a very student friendly way. Practical knowledge is what pearl believes in everything is delivered vocally and in form of presentations. The submissions are all interesting and requires practical research and and an eye for detail.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, the college is absolutely focused in providing students the industry experience and exposure. The college gives special mentoring to the students to go through interviews. Almost all the luxury brands in India heir interns from our course. students can even apply on their own for internships.

Placement Experience :

Pearl excels in placing their students. The previous year percentage of placement of the luxury batch was 99% in all the leading luxury and fashion brands in India like Louis Vuitton, Dior, Versace, Armani, Cartier, Sabyasachi and many more. The students are personally asked for their preference of the industry in which they want to work, be it the fashion industry, the food or beverage industry or the luxury service industry.

College Events :

Like the river water flows smoothly, like the tree grows unknowingly, likewise our time flows in Pearl Academy. It feels like a gentle breeze comes and flows away giving us many memorable moments. Every festival is celebrated in a healthy way. Pearl Utsav is a major event which happens every year and Pearl portfolio which showcases the best work of the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee of this course "Global luxury brands management" is structured in a way it should be, not very affordable. The fee per semester comes out to be 3L approx giving a total of 18 Lac approximately. The course offers as much as the fee as this 3 Year UG Pathway incorporates a unique four-week module at NABA, Milan in the fourth semester.

Exam Structure :

Each and every submission in pearl is also structured in a very student friendly way. Practical knowledge is what student gain which going through the work. The submissions are all interesting and requires practical research and and an eye for detail. This course is of 3 years and 6 semester which makes a year of 2 semester.

Faculty :

The faculty of pearl is accessible all the time during the college hours and even after through class whatsapp group which almost all the courses have. The faculty is well educated in the field and highly experienced which can be seen in them and in their way of delivering the content.

Placement Experience:

As I know, in the third year, they will offer you an intership for 1-3 months and at the end of your course, they will provide you a job under well-known companies. My plans after completing my course i will like to work for 1-2 years under the company which will be provided by the college, after getting some experience i will start my own business.

Pros - big well maintained campus, alumni network, industry reputation, Cons- large intake of students, faculty, fees, slightly overrated If you are delhiite than 85% seats are reserved for you and this college is worth going for but if you are an outside Delhi candidate than Dtu is not worth the efforts that you have put in

Entrance Preview:

NIFT has its specific entrance exam which is divided in 2 parts. Creative Ability Test and General Ability Test which is conducted for 5 hours.After clearing these two tests,the candidate moves on to the situation test which is basically 3D modelling,on the basis of a given situation and materials handed,we have to come up with a model.

Admission:

As I have previously mentioned,NIFT has its specific entrance exam which is divided in 2 parts:Creative Ability Test and General Ability Test which is conducted for 5 hours.Creative Ability tests your creative skills whereas GAT tests your grammar,mathematical and general knowledge.After clearing this test,I moved on to the situation test,I was given some raw material and 4-5 themes to choose from.
