Course Curriculum Overview :

Our course is basically all practical but I feel that the practical knowledge we get from our college is really not enough, I hope they can improve on it and sometimes teachers only pay attention on those who already know about the subject instead of those who don't know to help them. I feel the exposure we should have got here as we heard we are not getting it.

Internships Opportunities :

Our college asks us to do internship after every year like we did after first year and now after second year too. But the internships provided by college are only for 5-6 students the rest have to search it on their own. Also one needs to make a report and presentation of what work you did in your internship as it's part of final practicals worth 100 marks.

Placement Experience :

My third year is about to start from next month and none discussed about the campus placements. But I know one thing for sure only those students who are teacher's favourite are going to get campus placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As for fee structure one can check it on the website of the university but yeah the college is really very expensive for the bachelor degree. There are no scholarships available as I once asked the faculty because I myself was needing it. No financial assistance is provided.

Campus Life :

The infrastructure provided is quite good. As for my overall experience till now, I'm a little satisfied with it. Although there are many things that I don't like about the college but yeah there are good things too so, the campus life is not that bad and yes, one can join societies if they want to.

Admission :

First we applied for the cet-ipu entrance exam. I got greater noida as my examination centre and there were more than 3 lakh students who gave exams. After the exam, we waited for result, I got 640 rank and then proceeded forward to select the colleges I prefer in the preference list after that I waited till I got a college, I got Fairfield college in second round them trinity in third round and VIPS in the spot round, then we further proceeded admission procedure and the orientation took place and that's how my college life started.

Faculty :

The faculty is really good. All of them are always on time and no matter what happens but the classes are always taken. We are provided with books from book bank, anyone who wants to can pay a certain amount and get them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Journalism Honours, this course very practical based which requires real life exposure. Faculty is preparing us from the 1st semester for real life exposures we have given assignments like real life industry. I think the course should be more practical based rather than giving 5 assignments like a burden give 1 assignment with a plenty of time that requires a detailed research with gives student a chance to really involve in the assignment and do the work. Exams happen every 5 months, and the gap for preparation in between exams is plenty good.

Placement Experience:

College somehow lacks in conducting the placement drives. The management needs to work on the placement area. Even though a placement drive is happening during the covid with the help of links and emails but a face-to-face discussion and interview had its own advantage. Also, the college should conduct a seminar for students for understanding the tactics during the placement drive.

Admission:

GGSIPU conduct common entrance test (CET) for admission process. To be a part of (CET) firstly I filled the form of (CET) around mid of may. After the result announced of (CET), there was three round of counseling. In the counseling process firstly I prefer colleges on the rank basis then there was three counseling round.

Placement Experience:

In the matter of internship they do not provide any internship and also do not guide about the internship. At the time of admission, they make fake promises to provide an internship.
