Remarks :

All the things are good in university. If possible to start the sending documents after pass out through post. Make a application by which we can easily order our Marksheet, migration, transcript, degree etc. and please start good placement drive for bioinformatics student.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is good in bioinformatics and biotechnology also and sessional exams are in objective and subjective both. Then pre-semesters are taken after that final semester exams carried out. You have to pass all the sessionals and pre-semesters to sit in the final semester exam.

Placement Experience :

Placements are very well in Bioengineering department and also in other departments like Civil, mechanical, CS IT, MANAGEMENT, law, medical, and arts etc. Internships in govt. And private sectors are provided by centre for career guidance and development section of university with good stipend but in bioinformatics department their is lack of placement after completion of course only internships are provided.

College Events :

Fiesta every year, inter university sports fest, Every national programs like independence day etc. Cultural programs, conference in every fields either science, humanity, law, medical. Radio jockeys also come to college for quizes like small game show.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is very feasible to do graduation and masters also for PhD degree Any one can get admission after qualifying the eligibility criteria. According to my opinion fee structure is made by remembering the condition of every people because every can't afford higher fee.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Lots of scholarship provide by university like on merit, minority, single girl child, if two siblings studying one exempted from paying fee or halfed the amount of fee. Up scholarship for every category students whose fathers income is low.

Campus Life :

Lots of extra curricular activities run during college time like quizzes, small departmental sports meets, dancing, singing, poetry competition, drawing competition theme based. Labs are very good every required equipments are their very good faculty in labs to carry out the practicals. Lots of knowledge we can gather from practicals sessions.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is also good and very broad India to foreign countries like London, UAE, KOREA USA etc. Alumnus are awarded time to time in alumni meet. Some seniors also help to junior students. Some Alumnus are in administrative services like IPS, IAS. Some are in navy placed through college.

Admission :

I cracked iuet 2017 to get admission in masters program in the field of bioinformatics, then counselling had been carried out where documents are verified and college fee submitted. Then I had alloted seat in masters.

Faculty :

Faculty in the college was very supportive specially in Bioengineering department in which I had studied. They also support and encourage the students. Their teaching style was excellent. All the practical sessions are carried out very well. Student gather lots of knowledge from the faculties not only for course exams as well as competitive exams like GATE, CSIR NET, DBT BET ETC.

Placement Experience:

During the third semester of the master of technology, students are eligible to sit in campus placements. In the Electrical Engineering Department most of the top semiconductor companies like Intel qualcomm, micron, Texas instruments, onsemi, cadence, amd visited this year. Number of offers made is 80 out of 140 candidates. The highest package is 49 LPA by Qualcomm. 60 per cent got placed this year due to poor market conditions. I am going to work in a semiconductor company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

Placements of IITK are very good. Even during recession the average package was 15lpa. Highest package was 60lpa and lowest was 12lpa. If someone is not getting placed then professors help in their own domain. After degree, I am planning to work in a product based company after degree.

Engineering in the city of Gods

Remarks:

The one thing which is deteriorating the Masters level education in India is the double-mindedness of most of the GATE aspirants. Those with lower ranks join institutes of national importance such as ours just for the sake of the monthly stipend and the time they would get for GATE preparation. Such students waste the opportunity for someone else who is really interested in research, but could not get there due to low GATE score. It is high time that we prioritize our needs and act accordingly; it can only boost the research temperament among the student community.
