Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was comprehensive and we have an option to choose free electives from other departments too. We would have 2 quizzes and one end semester exam in a semester and meanwhile assignments will be shared at regular intervals of time.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is divided as per categories and you can also opt for academic scholarships and different scholarships for abroad studies will also be provided. My total cost for the 4 year B.Tech program was somewhere around 16 Lakhs.

Campus Life :

I worked in different teams and have gained experience over many things in the college. Library was accessible 24/7 an all the material needed would be in the library itself. The hostels even had mini libraries and study halls to study.

Admission :

The admission process was taken care by JoSAA. We put our colleges on priority and based on that we were called to the college for the admission process. The review process happened in IIT Madras itself.

Faculty :

We had faculty advisors for around 15 students and each student is set to be allotted to a professor from his own department. The advisor helps us in the academics and personal issue stuff. The faculty credentials are even great and everyone has completed their doctorates from reputed universities. The interaction with teachers happen after the completion of classes and if needed, a personal meeting or a doubt clearance session can be scheduled with the professor. Every interaction will be healthy and the professor solves every doubt of ours. Proper reference material and notes will be provided by the faculty and we will also have Teaching Assistants for different subjects who are either from M.Tech or PhD to clear our doubts regarding the subject and academics.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in our college was trying its best to provide job opportunities for the students but no companies are ready to give the job to students. The placement training was good but the students want more training about what placement is. They only conduct lots of tests and exams and assignments, etc.

This college gives a lots of placement opportunities for the students. If you didn't get placed in any companies the college wouldn't hand you over your certificates unless you are interested in going for further studies. If you are not interested in higher studies then you have get yourself placed to get your certificates

Students who clears all the exams can eligible for the campus interview .More students get placed in the campus interview but some of the companies only offer very low seat to this college so it may be based on the skills of the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had an interest in how the machine works by itself, like censors, how they work, etc. Faculty members in SRM are very friendly and with top qualifications. I can say that the education provided here is very good in quality. exams are held every month and marks are used to give internal marks.

Admission:

I got admission into this college through my scores in the JEE MAINS exam. The college takes inn students through their JEE scores. I scored a decent of 93 in JEE mains and got admitted into the college.

Placement Experience:

The placements were not that good at my time. although rround 60% of the students were placed but the salary offered used to be low. The salary offered was between 10K to 20K per month. I dont know about now, the packages must have developed withing these years.
