The campus here is very ambient, students are competitive which makes it very interesting.

Dislikes

The mess fees seems to be very much as compared to other government college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum here is very hectic based on the earlier methods of terms by NIT and IITs across India. This needs to change with each year since the format of learning and comprehensive education is developing.

Class Size : 10Course Fees : INR 80000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships as well as tution fee weaver schemes are already present which can be beneficial for all the students. In terms of placement opportunities, NIT Rourkela holds the record for 100% campus placement.

Campus Life :

The campus life is vibrant with different programs including cultural and technical which enables students to explore into different areas. Annual program called NITRutsav happens each year as annual function.

Admission :

The NET or gate exam is required along with other criteria fulfilment by UGC for admission to PhD programs in NIT Rourkela. Then according to the project and marks the panel decide about the admission of the students.

Faculty :

The faculties here are very talented as well as hail from very reputed IITs as well as graduates from abroad They provide a holistic environment for the growth of the students. It enables research scholars to develop more and more.

PhD from an IIT

Placement Experience:

There were very less Ph.D. students who went for corporate jobs after completing the course. Most of them opted to work in research facilities government institutions. The highest CTC of the placement week, in general, went to Rs. 56 LPA. Both domestic and international companies participated in this week. Some of them were Goldman Sachs, GE India, Amazon, Honeywell, Adobe, Vedanta, GAIL, CDAC, TRAI, REC, and Tata Steel.

For the Ph.D. student, there is not any campus selection. After completion of Ph.D. course, I will join the college for teaching purposes. If I will write or published 2 or 3 national papers during my PhD then it will be very helpful for my future plan.

About my college

Admission:

You have to crack IIT-JEE for B.tech ,IIT-JAM fpr M.SC , Gate for M.Tech and P.hd and NET-JRF exam for P.hd after a valid scorecard you can get admission in this institute. For B.tech you have to do seat allocation online.

Placement Experience:

If you want a good job and you have worked hard enough, In general all IITs provides enough Placements similar with IIT Bhubaneswar.In IITs depends placements depends on the branch and course of study also.

KIITEE, For Doctorate Degree (Ph.D), Nice University with world class infrastructure and support from faculties of same and allied technologies along with research. Impressive campuses and hygiene food throughout, multiple sport complexes.

Admission:

Admission Process through KIITEE exam, generally the notification comes around november-december, for the next academic year. Standard selection procedure for all the courses and a proper and transparent academic system. The exam is being conducted in different cities of India, free of cost (application) for encouraging the number of applicants.
