Course Curriculum Overview :
As it is nit they have relevant and condensed syllabus.The syllabus is constructed in such a way as demanded by the industry.It prepares you for the real world rather than sticking to syllabus.
Internships Opportunities :
Companies like Oracle, L and T,Atlassian,Texas Instrumennts, Google, Qualcomm and other top companies visit for placement and internships. Stipend is also provided generally in between 5000 and 10000.
Placement Experience :
The top companies often visit nit for campus placement.Generally we need to maintain above 7.5CGPA.The college recorded highest package for CS dept.The average placement records about 13 lakhs and highest of about 67 lakhs.Comapnies like Oracle,L and T,Atlassian, Texas Instrumenta,Google come to nit.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Even after getting into college after clearing jee the fee it demands is comparatively on the higher side but at the same time it assures you exposure to big companies for campus placement.There has been a hike of 25000.There are special scholarship for egrantz etc
Campus Life :
The college conducts the 2 most celebrated fest,Tathva which is the tech fest and Ragam which is the cultural fest.Tathva is based on technical aspects like conducting robowars,expo shows and variety of tech related competition are conducted.For ragam it brings out the artistic capabilities of students.Students from different colleges come for competitions for dance,mime,spoof etc and a hansdome amount is given to the winners.Now the most enthralling part is the performances of renowned artits from across the world.Both fest are conducted for 3 days bringing out the artistic skills,carving leadership and team spirit.
Hostel Facilities :
Admission to hostel are randomly through hostel app for first year students. There are 4 mess for ladies and a night mess. There is LH and MLH,generally first year students are accommodated in LH.There is a wide variety of culinary plan like north,south,veg,non veg or mixed.
Admission :
I got into the course after clearing jee with 97.2 and got into civil.The counselling is under josaa followed by csab.We need to pay additional amount to csab if we are not content with the course alloted by josaa.Then we need to physically report to college as per the alloted date.
Faculty :
Faculty members are highly qualified but their ability to educate students varies from teacher to teacher. Teachers who are not fluent in English raises a serious issue in communicating with students.
