Remarks :

The college is affiliated with KTU and offers BTech, MTech, and Phd programs. The college accepts applications from students fulfilling the defined eligibility criteria. The Application forms can be filled out via both online and offline modes. Online applicants can visit the college's official website. The college releases a notification stating that admission is open and the application link is activated, through which aspirants can apply .apply before the deadline , and be up to date with college's official site.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Semester exams are tough. Electronics and biomedical engineering is a growing field that offers high chances to students in the future. I like how technology and medicine are totally different and we can join this way.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 22000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Most internship and recruitment is offers to cse branch .CSE emerged as the top branch with the highest number of offers recieved .sometimes students have to find interships .Leading recruters such as Cognizant,Deloitte and EY visited the campus during MEC kochi placement 2023.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Total fees for 4 years are about INR 1.6 to 3.6 lakh, the fees might vary according to branch. These mentioned fees are for merit seats. Colleges provide various scholarships to meritorious students(merit cum means scholarship scheme), the second scholarship is a central sector scheme of scholarship and all details and eligibility criteria for scholarships are provided on the college site.

Campus Life :

There are a lot of events at the college, the biggest one is the annual techno-culture fest called EXCEL which usually happens around even semesters. we have 2 blocks of building both pretty small, so there is not much for campus life if you are coming here expecting it. There are so many active clubs in college.

Faculty :

The professors are well qualified, and most of them have phd in their respective fields. We can ask doubts at any time without any fear. Their teaching methods are really good. Students can opt for this college for proper lectures from teachers. They are also very supportive.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
