The admission at the college is both merit and entrance based. For B.Tech 50% of seats are filled by the government allotment, 10% through allocated community and the government, 15% NRI seats, and 35% of the seats allocated in the category of pure achievement of rankings list published by Vimal Jyothi College. The candidates have to clear relevant entrance exams to take admission in different courses.
How to Apply?
- Students who want to take admission in one of the University of Kerala and study subjects such as Engineering or Architecture or management should be appearing for the exam KEAM.
- The application fee is charged INR 700 for the General category and INR 300 for the reserved category.

- I think the best faculty in our college is Mr. ROJIN P., and as for the academics, they are very good.
- Many companies such as TCS, Amazon, Flipkart, Tech Mahindra, Reliance, Federal Bank, and many more recruit from our college. As a fresher, I am not aware of any internships.
Dislikes
- Placement and job opportunities are less. The company only takes students who havent had supplies in their whole history, so the student count is less in placement.
- They will increase the rate up to 3200 per month, so the food in the hostel is not good

After 12th we need to write KEAM entrance exam The thing we need to just pass this exam .For merit seat we want to acquire more marks in keam exam. I didn't like the process of admission for NRI seat ,yhey are asking to paya high amount for the NRI seat.

For admission there are management seats , entrance seats , and non indian residens(NRI) seats. For management seats you you have to contact the manager and looks for the availability of seats . After writing the keam ( entrence exam for joining engineering college in kerala) have to score more than 20000rank .

Mostly this college is focusing on Computer Science Engineering. So its not easy to get admission here. Need to submit all of the original documents of SSLC, Plus two, etc. Need to pay 10000 rupees as advance fee and then pay 95000 rupees as fees per year. So many office works have to be done for these processes. KEAM examination will provide merit seat for here. But merit children also need to pay 95000 rupees per year.

The admission process was based on the score in 12th.The marks in the KEAM exam also considered. The admission process was not that difficult. A form was filled. And small amount of token also given. And there was a short meeting with the manager of the institute.

I passed keam exam with the rank of 35851. I was allotted to this college. I was admitted to the college as an entrance student on merit. After the allotment came I came to the college for admission and was admitted to the computer science department.

The admission process was quite simple and easy. I had given the keam entrance exam and I got in the college through the government allotment. I had a rank of 20721 and the cutoff in this college is not that high so even if you have a keam rank of 35000 you can get the CSE branch.
