Likes

The teachers of my department and the botany department are very supportive and they provide us adequate study materials
Although the college campus is small there is lavish greenary around the campus

Dislikes

Frequently the light goes off in summer seasons which is irritating
During heavy rains the walking area of the college gets clogged with rainwater

Course Curriculum Overview :

In my course till now I have studied about Chordates and non chordates. And I have no idea where will be the application of such knowledge is possible.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 4000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I had given 4000+ rupees in admission and then 1730 in 1st semester exam. Other than that I haven't paid anything to the college. So I don't really know what's the actual fee structure. I haven't taken any campus employment roles yet

Campus Life :

Overall the Campus life is okayish. Departmental freshers were held in August General freshers were held in September We did an event of Solabeel cleaning in October In March A shillong trip was organised In February cultural rally was held And in May Farewell was given to 6th sem seniors

Admission :

My admission was completely on online basis. My documents were submitted online and verified online. No entrance exam was required. Application form can be found on the College's official website. I didn't avail any reservation benefits. I think the admission process is decent enough.

Faculty :

The faculty is decent. There are like 7-8 teachers in my department. They teach well but sometimes they go off topic. They provide study materials which is appreciated but they do it late. Approachability is decent while sometimes the Teacher might not be in his or her cabin

I am truly satisfied with my selection of course and effect we have a smart biotech lab with all modern amenities which will help the students to practice lab work and carry out research works as well. Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good, we get lots to learn from that. It surely mskes the students for real world problems of acquiring seats and jobs. There is a little problem on the exam side, exams are not Always conducted on a relevant time. Most of the time exam is delayed and thus students need to struggle a little.

I choose this course as it provides knowledge about every object we have around. It keeps you connected with nature and helps in understanding them. I like the field where all things are experienced or practical. Physics is a subject which is a type of this. Yes, physics is a practical subject. Our practical lab is not enough good. I think it should improve. In Six months of the semester, 3 months of class, and the other 3 months going with a college program, holidays, and weekends. In six months 2 sessional and one final exam were held.

Pragjyotish College: once you visit, it's days with you forever

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took Bsc botany. A branch of biology that involves the scientific study of plant life is botany. The subject botany covers many disciplines such as, it deals with the study of ecology, physiology, taxonomy, anatomy, biochemistry, biostatistics, plant pathology etc. It has many opportunities and real-life applications. Honest review about Kok

Course Curriculum Overview:

My main reason behind choosing my course was that I liked mathematics a lot. So anybody interested should know that the course may be quite different then what you might have thought. As it focuses for more about the theoretical aspect in UG. As for exams you will have a sessional before the finals and sometimes the teachers might conduct individual tests.
