Remarks :
This college have good infrastructures and all the professor's are experienced and we'll qualified. It offers good facilities like canteen free WiFi, it has AC fitted library computer lab and this college is situated near the main road of ak Azad road so you can easily came to college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As a student of geography department I would recommend this dept. If you are interested because teachers so so cooperative and supportive. The exams are conducted in very well manner they strictly follow the rules and regulations of the concerned university.
Placement Experience :
If I say honestly till now I haven't see any company came to our college to offer jobs but yeah you can gain many knowledge from this college many programs are conducted for personal development so if you are well qualified and gain good marks then definitely you'll get a better job in future for sure.
College Events :
Every year this college conduct college week program in which 7 days celebrated where we can see many cultural programme and sports tournaments and many other last year in 2019 our college celebrated its diamond jubilee in a very large scale.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is moderate. In TDC you have to took admission for each year of tdc in 1st year the adm. Fee is around 5000 in each year i.e in 2nd and 3rd year and you have to pay separately for exam fee which is around 1200-1400 for each year for major students and for general courses little lower.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As this college is registered to NSP you can apply many scholarships. I applied Ishan Uday scholarship and I got the amount in 2nd year so you can also apply this scholarship. You can also apply other scholarship.
Campus Life :
Every year this college conduct many sports tournaments and other culture and social programmes in the college which includes many cultural dance and other activities. And there are many labs of the concerned departments.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni program was held last year many alumni came and share their experiences and other knowledge. We can gain many knowledge regarding jobs and other further studies from the alumni and how to took admission ect.
Admission :
I came from another district where geography honours was not available so I came to guwahati to seek admission in college as geography major first I went to B borooah college but I didn't get admission because it's cut off marks were Higher and my 2nd preference was Arya VIDYAPEETH college and went there and I got admission easily as it's cut off went to some how like 54 percentage and my percentage was 74.2 so I got admission easily.
Faculty :
All the professor's are well qualified and experienced. And this college also have good infrastructure and many departments are under construction as new buildings are being made for better accessibility.
