  • The staff in the office are not cooperative. They give a hard time to students
  • The departments should be allowed to function further late at night.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Type of curriculum we should be learning now. Still keeping to the decade-old syllabus. There are new developments and the syllabus tuns a blind eye on them. The course curriculum has to be renewed.

Placement Experience :

After 7th semester. Placeme training starts in the 6th semester. More than 50 companies come to btech departments. LnT, JSW, Atkins come to architecture. 50%of students get placed minimum The highest package goes to 32 lakhs per year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee is 8000 per year as it is a govt college. They avail all types of scholarships. Egrants, MCM, CETAA awards etc. But for architecture, you would need more money to go about the needs for the academic year.

Campus Life :

Lots of clubs. Many societies and activities happening in college. Was part in many of those clubs and events. Really helps to strengthen the bond between students. Politics is strong in college. Elections are held ebery year.

Admission :

Through the NATA exam, and 12th score. Application fees and dates are all known through the official websites. The admission process is through KEAM ranks. There is a reservation for all categories for Minorities. The valuation assessments also have been questioned previously

Faculty :

Teachers of my department are experienced teachers, with more than 10 years of teaching here. But I feel that sometimes they are still held back by the old notions, no one is accepting the changing tides of design. Teachers are approachable. They help us in all ways.

Typically, architecture programs start with foundational courses that cover architectural history, theory, and basic design principles. These lay the groundwork for understanding the discipline.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Have a good course curriculum that will take us to a level where we think we should learn more and we will be ready to seek knowledge to learn more and more about the topics. They won't spoon-feed us just give us a base. The syllabus is completed on time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculties are practicing architects, we are introduced to relevant methods of problem solvings. In terms of climate, structure and all we are introduced to new softawares every semester. Also every semester has a major project that is based on a real problem within a real site.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel like some of the subjects exam duration can be a little more because I think we can have a little more time in drafting and everything, and also can bring new techniques and practices in this field to the curriculum. The exams are held semester-wise.

Architecture is a tough and time taking course, the syllabus fine in the first three years but later on it becomes hectic. Maybe the syllabus can be reduced and I feel that five years is too long for architecture degree.

Placement Experience:

I don't knw much about placements as I am a 1year now. But our seniors are getting placed with a decent salary. The highest a senior got place was for 12L per annum. But the average is much low as the course offers less .
