  • Management of the college and their way approaching is the worst
  • Accessibility to the junction is difficult

Course Curriculum Overview :

Typically, architecture programs start with foundational courses that cover architectural history, theory, and basic design principles. These lay the groundwork for understanding the discipline.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is lot of scholarship availabilities such as premetric, MCM, postmetric Course fee is expensive compared to other courses.it is change college to colleges Employment opportunity is depend on us and our ability and our thought process, creativity, ideas It's depends on our portfolio. but still there have lot of opportunities in this field

Campus Life :

It's a best campus with best ambience and facilities We conducting so much programs like kurrah these are inter architecture college competitions based on sports, arts , architectural workshops and its also included interactive and funny sections. This college provide lot of sports opportunities and extracurricular activities. We oftenly participate differenr sport competitions. We have big ground, basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court

Hostel Facilities :

Compared to the other colleges the hostel fee is affordable. Hostel facilities are poor. In one room there is two bunk bed for each one and two tables, shelfs The food is good. the meal for each day is different and it's good Pg in the locality is good and affordable

Admission :

Through NATA and KEAM entrance exam We can get the details from Google and also through internet cafes The course fee will decreases and get more scholarships It's all about architecture and it have drawing section too... comparatively medium level exam Drawing level and learn more about architecture

Faculty :

Teachers communicate clearly and organize their material in a way that is easy to follow. This includes structured lesson plans and clear objectives. Teachers have a deep understanding of their subject matter and can explain concepts in multiple ways to cater to different learning styles.

Interview Experience :

There is no Group Discussion, Interview or Written Test for the admission. We only need nata exam rank Other colleges may be needed, the topic must be based on the architecture and architect, buildings , method and types of building.. etc

Course Curriculum Overview:

The design subject which is the most important one in the curriculum helps us gradually grow our perspective on architecture. The scale of the projects becomes larger every semester and each semester has a important aspect we need to include in our design ( contour site, universal accessibility etc). The 4th yr has an internship that every student is required to complete that actually prepares us for the real world application of what we learnt in the past 3 years of our course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculties are practicing architects, we are introduced to relevant methods of problem solvings. In terms of climate, structure and all we are introduced to new softawares every semester. Also every semester has a major project that is based on a real problem within a real site.

Placement Experience:

The college provides plenty of placements for the students as the college has years of experience. The highest package for placement in engineering is 36 LPA and average for architecture is 12 LPA. Almost 80 percent of students get placed every year,The rest pursue for higher studies. Students who pass out from the institution are given consideration due to its prestige.

Placement Experience:

Placement for Btech in TKMCE is high whereas it for architecture is very low. I'm thinking of doing masters and working on a firm and to move abroad and practice there. Gulf countries and European countries offer good salary packagees for architecture so that's what I'm planning to do after college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Architecture is a tough and time taking course, the syllabus fine in the first three years but later on it becomes hectic. Maybe the syllabus can be reduced and I feel that five years is too long for architecture degree.

Remarks:

CET is the best government college any inspirant could get in Kerala in terms of academics, college life, expenses and reputation. The only bad remark is the inequality in terms of hostel curfew for boys and girls. Earlier ladies hostel curfew time was 6. 30. But now it has been extended to 9. 30 as a result of students protests.
