Academics is lighter than other iit's and its chill pill

Course Curriculum Overview :

IIT bhu electronics department has very high placement rates that influenced me to choose this course. The curriculum prepares you well for real world applications. The lab equipments are older this can be improved. Exams are based on what teachers taught you.

Class Size : 147Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

After second year companies will visit the campus for internship. Many software , quant, data science.. companies visited this year with avg stipend of 50k . Almost 360 students get internship this year

Placement Experience :

You know the placements of iit bhu is best among the top iit's . There are more than 300 companies visited but i will name few its google Microsoft Mastercard oracle..etc The highest package is 2.2 cr and lowest is 6 lacs. About 80% students are placed and after getting degree i will do job

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fees for students having more than 8 lacs family income is 1lac for each iit. The charges for hostel is 6350 and for mess it is 15000. Based on your family's income you can get financial aid and there are some other scholarships also.

Campus Life :

The most hyped fest of iit bhu is kashiyatra held in month of January and its technical fest Technex is held in march it is india's largest tech fest . The classrooms do not have ac's. IIT BHU has 3 major grounds and 1 indoor sports complex

Hostel Facilities :

In first and second year you have to share room . You get free wifi and lan. Mess is better than other iits and it has different meals for every day. You have to do registration online and they will provide the details of registration

Hostel Fee : INR 6350 per year

Admission :

For getting admission in iit you have to first clear jee mains and then jee advance. The cost of jee mains application form is 1000 and jee advanced is 3800. Yes you can avail reservation benefits. But im general so no reservation.

Faculty :

Here in our college faculty to student ratio is good . The professors are highly qualified and they have done masters in their respective domain. If you are in contact with professor then you can get more knowledge about their domains.You can interact with them by visting their cabin in department or by mail.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subject of Biotechnology is of great importance and is very new and interesting too. The subjects offered are relevant and insightful as they offer knowledge on all aspects of the field. The curriculum is in correspondence to the syllabus of entrance exams like GATE making the preparation easier. We have exams every 4 months. The schedule is decent but there are lesser gaps than required between exams. The practical exams are sometimes conducted in the gaps between the exams.

The placement is average here because of lucknow city. But you can better placement in Metro cities like delhi, mumbai and many more. They provide average placement of 350000 and have 80% placement rate in campus placement.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester we are eligible for placement drive in our campus. Comoanies like flipcart bulebook etc have visited here but the offers was very less. Average package is 4 LPA and Highest package is 7 LPA till the date. Around 40 percentage of students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is that taking job from off campus. Hope so i will get it

From seven-semester, the student is eligible for placement. Cognizant, Accenture, tcs, etc. The average package is 3 lakhs and 3.5 lakhs and the highest package will be 42 lakhs. 89% of students get placement. After getting the degree I will apply for CDS and other government jobs.
