Mess food is not goodb. It is below average
Fees is also very high. They take fees of one semester as 6 month but semester is completed in 3-4 months . And they not refund the left money.

Course Curriculum Overview :

NITK (National Institute of Technology Karnataka) is known for its rigorous and comprehensive engineering curriculum, covering a wide range of subjects in engineering and technology. It often focuses on practical applications and hands-on learning, preparing students for careers in various industries.

Class Size : 21Course Fees : INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

In my class all students got internship. If someone not want to do internship then he can choose to do minor project in the college. Companies like LAnd T atkins cengres c phi consultancy offered internship opportunities. But l and t did not give any stipend. If stipend is not given by company then u can take college stipend.

Placement Experience :

I am sharing about my branch that is geotechnical engineering. In my branch placement is about 100%. I am saying about because all of my seniors are placed but 2 of them get placement by their own. CDC department work very well .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Total fees of master degree in technology for two years is 366000 including hostel and mess fees . You have to pay around 110000 at the time of admission and remaining is sem wise you have to pay. Education loan is provided if someone want it , by sbi bank and canara bank at very low interest. In nitk fees is less compared to other nits

Campus Life :

All festivals including all religions are enjoyed well without any discrimination. Almost all books are available in the library and if someone not present then u can give recommendations for that . In my class room projectors or available but speakers are not there.

Hostel Facilities :

In first year double sharing room with personal cupboard and study table and chair. And in 2nd year u can choose for sharing or not. Meal quality is average Hostel registration is also fone at the time of admission I have no idea about pg and room .

Hostel Fee : INR 32100 per year

Admission :

First you have to clear the cutoff of gate exam then you are able to register for counseling program of nit . Fill the preference accordingly. If your gate score is good you will get the nitk. Apply your reservation criteria also. Then after you have to physically visit to college for documents verification. After that pay the remaining fee and your college starts.

Faculty :

All teachers of well qualified. My guide did his phd from japan. All teachers have very good experience also. One of my favourite teacher is professor sitaram nayak sir , he is very good explainer ,he teaches without any book or copy. He has the sea of knowledge.

Manipal- The most beautiful experience one should look for.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Very effective, the course was revised a year back when i joined. So it was up to date. Yes it helps us to deal with real world, so many things i learnt are resonating with my job now. Specialy the labs, where sir taught about the documents the construction companies posses and how they are used. There were exams every 2 months.

REVIEW OF NITK MTech ECE Department

Placement Experience:

After 2nd sem student gets eligible for campus placement. In last sem Samsung ,Qualcomm , analog devices, Texas instruments, AMD,Marvel,ARM , Cdot so many companies visited for the placement, highest package was arround 35 lpa which is offered by analog devices, profile was analog engineer average package is near about 15-18 lpa . Till now 50-60 % student get placed . In 2022 the placement percentage was 80-90 % due to inflation the companies deceases recruitments . That's why now our college is allowing for 11 months internship that's why in our batch almost 60% student gets the internship offer which was less at the time of our seniors so may be this year placement percentage gets increased to 80-90 % .. my plan is simple just take the placement from the campus as 60% student already gets the internship so there will be less completion so there will be more chances to get the placement

Honest NITK MTech life.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd semester we are eligible to get internships so along with so many students can get ppo. No of companies visited all are there in nitk website but placement is good. In my course highest placement is 10lac and lowest 4.5 and average 5-6lac In my course around 85-90% students get placed. I wanted to job in pharmaceutical companies

east or west NITK is best

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester the placement session starts. Average package is quite a good about 12lpa in the current scenario. About 80-90 percent students get placed every year from the college itself and also some students goes to higher studies. My plan is to get a placement after completion of my degree.
