College placement as compare to others is good

Course Curriculum Overview :

In MTech industrial biotechnology only subjects are relevant to my interest like Bioprocess technology, bioreactor engineering, Downstream processes technology, Bioanalytical techniques. In above subject according to me the course content is not too good. Others subject are not that much relevant to my interest

Internships Opportunities :

For my course MTECH Industrial biotechnology some companies are regularly visited like. Enzene bioscience pune Biocon bengalore Serum institute pune Laurus bio bengalore Himalaya wellness bengalore In 3rd and 4th semester we have to do 1major and 1 minor project. Also we can complete in industry it self. Minimum month internship is allowed my college for my course

Placement Experience :

From 2nd semester we are eligible to get internships so along with so many students can get ppo. No of companies visited all are there in nitk website but placement is good. In my course highest placement is 10lac and lowest 4.5 and average 5-6lac In my course around 85-90% students get placed. I wanted to job in pharmaceutical companies

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Actually fees is too high. In first semester I paid around 1,10,000 for college and hostel and this is too much. Around 3.6lac fees I have to pay in 2yr course. I am getting scholarship from gate 12400 per month. To get scholarship everyday we have to give biometric and maximum 30 leave we can take in a year. In my campus 2 banks are there and we can get easily loan

Campus Life :

In October technical fest- engineering fest In march- Incident fest Books and journals are easily available in library also digital library is there, so library facility is good. In my course only faculty are there. Regarding sports and extracurricular activities nitk is the best,there is always something is going also internitk sports and intra nitk sports like pg-ug cup and all. In campus there are so many different different clubs and all are run by students. My clubs students can learn so many thing this is good thing

Hostel Facilities :

My room is very good but no ac room so little bit heat I can feel. Others like water and all is good. Mess food is not good. Registration for hostel is very smooth via nitk iris app we can do and everyone easily get room. In MTech 1st students get double sharing room and 2nd will get single sharing room. Nearby nitk some good apartments are there we can rent

Hostel Fee : INR 840000 per year

Admission :

Through GATE we will get that course also payment seats are available but fees is too much around 2.5lac per semester. GATE exam Application fees vary every year around 1700-2000 Application date around November and December exam time February. Reservation is avaliable Admission process is good.Gate is doing fine

Faculty :

All faculties have good qualifications but some course is not relevant to us so it is very difficult to understand so we are thinking that faculty is not good. I'm my course two faculty are good there always focus on good teaching with industry knowledge others are just come and teach maths and go.

Manipal- The most beautiful experience one should look for.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Very effective, the course was revised a year back when i joined. So it was up to date. Yes it helps us to deal with real world, so many things i learnt are resonating with my job now. Specialy the labs, where sir taught about the documents the construction companies posses and how they are used. There were exams every 2 months.

REVIEW OF NITK MTech ECE Department

Placement Experience:

After 2nd sem student gets eligible for campus placement. In last sem Samsung ,Qualcomm , analog devices, Texas instruments, AMD,Marvel,ARM , Cdot so many companies visited for the placement, highest package was arround 35 lpa which is offered by analog devices, profile was analog engineer average package is near about 15-18 lpa . Till now 50-60 % student get placed . In 2022 the placement percentage was 80-90 % due to inflation the companies deceases recruitments . That's why now our college is allowing for 11 months internship that's why in our batch almost 60% student gets the internship offer which was less at the time of our seniors so may be this year placement percentage gets increased to 80-90 % .. my plan is simple just take the placement from the campus as 60% student already gets the internship so there will be less completion so there will be more chances to get the placement

east or west NITK is best

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester the placement session starts. Average package is quite a good about 12lpa in the current scenario. About 80-90 percent students get placed every year from the college itself and also some students goes to higher studies. My plan is to get a placement after completion of my degree.
