- The faculties are very supportive and well qualified.
- The campus has its own private beach a very soothing and calming location to go in the evening.
Dislikes
- The mess food is somewhat annoying to the students coming from the north india region.
- They do not allow any outside food delivery guys to enter the campus you will have to go to the gate to pick it up.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is designed very carefully so that it covers all the important subjects that are relevant to the masters degree. Also the curriculum is so fantastic it do not put much pressure on the students, students can easily complete the course without any pressure smoothly.
Internships Opportunities :
Various companies like Samsung, Microsoft, Google etc comes every year for tge internship opportunities to the various students. Also companies like volvo, tata steel and other core compnies for core branches comes to the campus for internship roles
Placement Experience :
From 3rd semester the placement session starts. Average package is quite a good about 12lpa in the current scenario. About 80-90 percent students get placed every year from the college itself and also some students goes to higher studies. My plan is to get a placement after completion of my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
All the fees are very affordable, it gets increased by 5% every year which is a very small change. Mtech students gets a monthly stipend of 12400 who are GATE qualified. For the students in need the hostel and mess charges are also reduced by the hostel office on applying with proper documentation.
Campus Life :
There are lot of clubs related to technology, cultural activity, literature etc. led by the students themselves. The classrooms are equipped with world class technology. Sports facilities are also quite good in the campus. There are two major fests named ENGINEER and INCIDENT happens every year.
Hostel Facilities :
Some hostels are old some are new so new hostels are quite good new furniture new rooms so happy happy, old hostels are not that bad they are also decent. Hostel allocation process is so smooth you don't have to worry about it. Mess menu changes every month and you are free to change the mess every month. The mess food is decent as we all know how it will be. Better to stay in hostels renting out a room or pg outside the campus is not a good idea.
Admission :
To get admission in the Mtech there are two ways either self sponsored or thtough GATE. For self sponsored an application is needed to be submitted directly to the institute and the institute conducts there own exam and interview after they selects the best applications about 4 to 5 students , No GATE score required for this. Second one is through GATE , a centralised counseling is done in which we have to apply by our GATE score if our cut off clears we are admitted to the course.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is about 1 teacher above 50 students. The faculties are well versed with knowledge of there respective fields from respected institutes from all over the world. The faculties are easily approachable to each and every student they can often meet and interact with the faculties.
