Remarks :

College management is best. You don't need to worry about anything, every faculty is required to student is available in campus.

Entrance Preview :

I entered this college through GATE exam, scoring more than 99 percentile in GATE. As it ranked one in India for research, I chose the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses are designed by experts. Every important topic is considered in course. Courses here will make you confident that you can solve future field problems on your own. Everything here is research-oriented and everything starts with basics here. You will get an opportunity to work on practical problems.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes. For SC/ST students stipend is 5k with free accommodation and food. This is an institutional internship for outsiders.

Placement Experience :

Best in Computer Science and Automation, Information Technology, Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, computational and data science. Average in Civil and Materials. On an average everyone who wants placement will get it. Average package is 15Lac/annum.

College Events :

Pravega: Cultural event which gives you opportunity to perform. Concerts are organised. Open Day: This is the only day when anyone can get into Indian Institute of Science campus and explore the lab, experience the science, get to see demonstrations and have fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Nominal fees are taken. Tution fees is 15000. Deposit 35000. Monthly food and hostel fees 5000. As compare to any other institute in India IISc is the cheapest and gives you best quality life style. You will get monthly stipend by MHRD ministry. So you don't have to worry about fees. And also you can get loan very easily.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

MHRD stipend for post graduates and research students. DST scholarship for science students.Loan is easily available for needy students.

Campus Life :

Awesome campus life. 550 acre well maintained campus with full of natural beauty. Gym, Swimming , Tennis, Table Tennis facilities are in hostels. TV room is provided in each hostel. Daily newspaper will come to every TV room. Good exposure in various international level competition.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are best. Single posh rooms are given to everyone. Well maintained campus and hostel. There are 4 mess in campus. 1 North Indian Pure Veg 2. North Indian veg/ Non veg 3 South Indian Pure veg 4 South Indian veg/ Non veg Food is tasty and good variety is served.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni will help in technical research activity and financing some research, developing laboratories. Seniors and alumini are very helpful.

Exam Structure :

Regular test. 2 mid sem, one final.Mostly open book tests with very tough questions. Not very hectic day, but you have to study hard. Open book test are specifically designed to cover each and every concept which is taught in class. Close book test with formula sheet is given. So we don't have to mug up anything.

Admission :

GATE is qualifying exam. You have to give interview for some specialisation. Admission process is neatly specified on website. Notification will be announced in mid march. Typically last date is just after GATE results. And interviews are conducted between 15th April to 25th May.

Faculty :

IEvery faculty here is highly qualified and does great work in contribution of our nation. Faculty will solve personal doubts very seriously, they will never ignore your doubts. Until you are comfortable with topic they will solve your doubts with innovative examples.

Manipal- The most beautiful experience one should look for.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Very effective, the course was revised a year back when i joined. So it was up to date. Yes it helps us to deal with real world, so many things i learnt are resonating with my job now. Specialy the labs, where sir taught about the documents the construction companies posses and how they are used. There were exams every 2 months.

REVIEW OF NITK MTech ECE Department

Placement Experience:

After 2nd sem student gets eligible for campus placement. In last sem Samsung ,Qualcomm , analog devices, Texas instruments, AMD,Marvel,ARM , Cdot so many companies visited for the placement, highest package was arround 35 lpa which is offered by analog devices, profile was analog engineer average package is near about 15-18 lpa . Till now 50-60 % student get placed . In 2022 the placement percentage was 80-90 % due to inflation the companies deceases recruitments . That's why now our college is allowing for 11 months internship that's why in our batch almost 60% student gets the internship offer which was less at the time of our seniors so may be this year placement percentage gets increased to 80-90 % .. my plan is simple just take the placement from the campus as 60% student already gets the internship so there will be less completion so there will be more chances to get the placement

Honest NITK MTech life.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd semester we are eligible to get internships so along with so many students can get ppo. No of companies visited all are there in nitk website but placement is good. In my course highest placement is 10lac and lowest 4.5 and average 5-6lac In my course around 85-90% students get placed. I wanted to job in pharmaceutical companies

east or west NITK is best

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester the placement session starts. Average package is quite a good about 12lpa in the current scenario. About 80-90 percent students get placed every year from the college itself and also some students goes to higher studies. My plan is to get a placement after completion of my degree.
