Course Curriculum Overview :

So, I basically choosed this course because one of my senior suggested me to do it. So MSW is basically offers you a lot not only social work but also many other things it's actually a practical as well as classroom program where you have to spend half of the week in field work and half of the week in classroom. Out faculty is best for what it offers to us So the exams basically happen sem-1- internal- October and November External - December Sem-2 Internal- March and April External- may/June

Class Size : 36Course Fees : INR 9000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Unpaid internship are available as there are numbers of organisation tied up with the university and that's why you have a good opportunity to work there and learn more as a social worker Railway childline - I also worked there for 5 months

Placement Experience :

From last year means 3rd or 4th sem (master's degree) students are eligible for campus placement Bajaj finance, NIIT, HDFC BANK, JK GLOBAL and 15 students got placed I was one of them but the profile of the job doesn't suits me so I decided not to go with the job Highest package 3.2 Lowest package - 1.8 I decided to pursue my career in HR so I am doing that

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee - total 19 k in which 2500 is refundable No increase in fees no hikes untill I was there as a student And yes you can apply for UP SCHOLARSHIP on official government site and can get the total amount of fees back through scholarship Campus offers placement but can say not of use to MSW STUDENTS it only have Inside sales profile which offers you minimum to bare package

Campus Life :

One thing which really exciting is the celebration festival and program frequently being arranged You can have food enjoyment and many more Library - it's quite good you can access number of books related to your courses and you can also have the online facilities where you can learn more Sport's - new campus so new equipment new playground new courts and that's really good and fascinating

Admission :

ELIGIBILITY - one must need to complete graduation with 55+ percentage. You can apply online through official website as well as you can apply offline by visiting to the university At first you need to register yourself on addmission portal the form costs 1000 rs and then the test will be done by next month Exams are quite easy to moderate

Faculty :

One thing that I like the most during my studies was teacher's assistantance throughout. Kavita mam geetanjali mam vivek sir they are all mind blowing teacher's we can easily discuss our Problems with them frequently without hesitation.

I chose the MSW course just because I wanted to become a social worker and help people in need. The faculty was much qualified such as MA, MSC, BED, BA etc. The teaching method was good and easy to understand. The faculty: student ratio is 18:1. The term exams were held every 3-4 months.

My college days

Remarks:

I would say this University has everything.The knowledge,the talent not just in books but also on grounds and the most important thing is you get appreciated for whatever you are good in . They provide everything at one place, either you talk about transportation facilities,bank facility,hostel or gym.

Admission:

The eligibility criteria to take admission in this course was graduation in any stream with minimum 45% marks. I took admission in this because I am really into social work.As I wanted to be a professional in it and wanted to dig deep into the subject to learn more and more.
