Remarks :
I would say this University has everything.The knowledge,the talent not just in books but also on grounds and the most important thing is you get appreciated for whatever you are good in . They provide everything at one place, either you talk about transportation facilities,bank facility,hostel or gym.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My specialisation was in urban and rural development & the course designed was so perfect to make people start thinking critically, to make them able to solve problems,make decisions and learn how to adapt to changes in life. It wasn't at all hectic because we were trained to work in universites, research institutes,etc which I was really interested in.
Placement Experience :
There is a centralised corporate resource centre in the university which basically works for providing us with best opportunity for us career.And they actually provide you with the best,it is not just that they guide but also provide you with the best results.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee for my 4 semesters (2 years) course was ?60,000/- in total which I think is feasible and actually easily affordable. Getting trained in the way the university provided us with,I can assure that you won't get any better guidance anywhere else.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There was scholarship for the meritorious students in the UG courses, those with 90% in 10+2 & above got an exemption of 75% of the tuition fee. Those who were above 85% in 10+2 got the waiver for 25% of the tuition fee. Moreover the topper of each faculty was reimbursed with the tuition fee of 1 year.
Campus Life :
The best thing I found in this university was the scholarship to the students which was the EXTRA CURRICULAR EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP which was for the students who are excellent in sports, cultural activities etc. They were provided with 50% exemption from the tuition fee ,which I think is alot and is something really supportive.
Admission :
The eligibility criteria to take admission in this course was graduation in any stream with minimum 45% marks. I took admission in this because I am really into social work.As I wanted to be a professional in it and wanted to dig deep into the subject to learn more and more.
Faculty :
Faculty here was talented with knowledge and more of ethical values because that is what you need when you are into social work.High moral is all you need.So I was really satisfied with the guidance I got from the faculty members.
