Course Curriculum Overview :

There are methods of teaching in our department .Many time there are seminars are taking place of various field . Before exam , teacher always try to clear our doubt and to maintain gapping in between

Class Size : 300Course Fees : INR 15000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

At last year of completion of degree, there are various stipend and intership is available for handful and deserving students . Many scholarships is available for student but have to look after commerce department in regard of scholarship

Campus Life :

Overall experience is quite nice , library is well maintained as well as digital library is also there . Various clubs and group is also there like eco club , units like nss and ncc is also there for social welfare of the campus both outside and inside

Admission :

Removal of reservation seats in examination sector.in this regard ,general student always face failure in this issue after getting full marks in that field. Proper notice of application fees and waiver is also look after

Faculty :

Faculty members is always there toh co-operate with students. While mentor is very nicely guiding to students. Faculty members regularly interact with students and always try to resolve the problem of student

Overall a decent college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took commerce stream after 10th, so the most obvious choice for me was B.Com.(Hons) because of it's wide scope and applicability. This is a very old and prestigious college of Guwahati, Assam. There is not much pressure during the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It conducted several carrier counseling and seminars and workshops which helps students to make right choice in future and enhance their knowledge. In my batch we didn't have major in subjects .we were told that there will be major subject in 3rd year but there was not .Later they said that in honours there is no one particular subject to be major and all main subjects are considered major subject.

My Happy Place

Placement Experience:

From 6th Semester onwards the students become eligible for campus placements . There are many comapnies visited in our college like - Godrej , Axis Bank , Mahindra etc. The highest package was from Gorej which was for 5LPA . On the basis of their interviews rounds they were provided the job .

About my college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love their teachings, I can't speak assamese and when they teach in Assamese I can't understand anything but the teaching is mostly English and Hindi so I'm grateful to teachers, the mark system is crazy, they just gave us whatever they feel like giving, like it always ends with 5 or 0 for eg. 55 65 80 30 etc
