The campus environment is very peaceful. Its full of greenery, all roads and playgrounds are well maintained. Campus is very safe during the nights also.
Social life is quite engaging here, lots of event goes around time to time.

Course Curriculum Overview :

i took chemistry as subject to pursue my masters degree, and i choose to do it in tezpur university beacuse the faculty's are one of the best in india. there teaching method involves lot of interaction. They also mentor one to one if necessary. They held total of 4 exams here in each semester, the difficulty level is a level above from other universities i would say.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

intership provided in our department is summer internship. they take students from other colleges also. students work under proffesor for 2 months during the internship. as per the stipened given i dont know the details.

Placement Experience :

placement from my course is not good, as many students pursuing this course goes for acedemic career. so they take no placements from the college itself. Still students gets placement in indian oil, or other oil companies. my plan after getting the degree is to go for proffesor post in college or university

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

tuition fee here is normal, my course tuition fee is 17143 rupees per semester and 6500 rupees for the hostel accomodation yearly. university also provide scholarships to the needful one. students who are below poverty line gets free education and hostel accomodation here.

Campus Life :

overall campus life is amazing here. peoples are nice here. No ragging happens here. annual festivals happen in the month of february. there is science festival called INSCIGNIS. then other festival called TECXETRA. The library here is a world class library. you can find any book you need related to your course. you can find many novels to read also. clubs here are, social club, science club, animal welfare club, dance club, etc

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is good here. 24/7 electricity and water. three times meals. each room accomodates two students at a time. and rooms are big enough. for the Phd scholars here they provide single room. meals includes every nutrients you need in your daily basis. they provide chicken, fish, prawns and for vegetarian peoples they give paneer soyabean, baby corns, etc

Hostel Fee : INR 6500 per year

Admission :

to apply for master in science [chemistry], eligibilty is 60% marks in graduation (i.e. Bsc) and you have to qualify the cut off of CUET or TUEE which is held every year during addmission time. One can get addmission in tezpur university through two entrance exams i.e. CUET and TUEE. Exams normally held on the month of May-June. Resevations benefits can also be availed here as per government norms Addmision process is smooth. they check the physical copies of your qualifications, that's it

Faculty :

all falculty members here are well qualified with Phd degree holder. faculty's are very willing to mentor and guide students. I often interact with teachers to rectify my doubts. Faculty are regular to their classes, provide notes at the end of lecture. And they are always available during the office hours to meet students and help with thier problems.
