- Didn't have a proper department its a struggle to have free classes when all batches have classes at the same time
- Canteen food is not up to the mark and for the price
Course Curriculum Overview :
The decision of me chosing this course was very random but with time I actually liked and understand the basic needs and principle of it. Since geology is the earth study it got me interest in many new stuffs with is also is fun and exciting. The teaching level is really upto the mark. Even tho it's a bit difficult for me in the beginning but with time my skills improved and I started to keep with the teachings and my studies
Internships Opportunities :
There are many internships which happens during the summer and winter holidays. The companies which offers such internships are Oil India and ONGC There are many projects the recent one happen during last year October 2023 which was for hydrogeology and research of ground water
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is for admission fees it's Rs 9500, Then there's no extra fees included There's an add on for department fees for Rs1100 for the cost of events like fresher's, farewell, picnic and etc Then there's additions field trip fees which varies depending upon the destination I went to Arunachal Pradesh for My field trip which fee was Rs 11000 The college also provide scholarships for financial aid Depending upon the scholarship the students is qualified for
Campus Life :
The overall experience with campus life, social aspects, clubs involvement and infrastructure is pretty good There's held many festive events from cultural, elections, traditional, western and till sports Yes students do run the social groups, and clubs since there are unions within student members
Admission :
Eligibility of the course is quite bit in the mid side The application form, fees and the dates are available in the official website of the college which is very easily accessible. Yes, there's is reservation benefits The difficulty level depends on how much I have cover my courses for the given entrances exams to qualify There's no need much for improvement since the official are really quick with improvement
Faculty :
The professors are very much qualified since all of them have done there Phds from IITs. And they're very efficient regarding teaching and mentorship. And I interact with the professors one daily basis since I'm actually doing my Masters degree so they help me out every single time from courses to practicals
