Course Curriculum Overview :

I think course is quite hard compared to other courses in BTech.but one thing you could possibly get a better job in both software and hardware industries. Electrical engineering in varanasi has a excellent faculty in teaching the core subjects.If you are interested in core you could definitely take this course.If you are interested in software industry no probs you can learn coding as an open elective course and you have plenty of opportunities in showing your talent

Internships Opportunities :

The internships start at the starting of your 5th semester and you can get a quote a good package directly in the internship itself and not to forget you have write a test to qualify for the internships.Your internship salary will be based on this performance in the test

Placement Experience :

The placements in a college differ from branch to branch,some have a higher percentage of placements.But not to worry nearly 90-99 percent of students get placed in almost every branch in IIT.Tje companies visiting would be around 300 and the offers would be nearly 1000 per year.Yje highest package offered in 2023 was 1.31 cpa and the lowest was around 6lpa

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes,the academic fee structure in IIT BHU is 1 lakh per semester and the hostel.and other expenses consists of roughly 30k per sem.So the total fee would be around 1.3 lakh per sem for general,ews,obc students and the sc,st people need not pay the academic fee and they pay only 30k per sem. If you are below 3lakh in ews or obc you can opt for decrement in fee upto 100% and 50% if your income is less than 5lakh.The institute provides lot of scholarships for economically weak students and it provides other sources for scholarships

Campus Life :

The campus life in any IIT is absolutely outstanding.Its like enjoying and studying at the same time.You have a lot of free time to explore many things like sports,cultural activities rather than studies.IIT provides a lot of opportunities for startups also

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel I am staying at present is aryabatta hostel.Irs an old hostel build decades ago.The hostels for the second years students are built new and they are outstanding obviously.The meals are pretty decent and yeah you can enjoy a good hostel life

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

Admission :

The admission process was quite smooth and it was held online to be comfortable for us.My rank was 3229 in general category and I got electrical engineering in IIT BHU.The admission process consists of 6 rounds and you have fill your choices at the starting of round 1 and filtering starts and at the end of 6th round you will be provided a college based on the cutoff rank and your choicing filled.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subject of Biotechnology is of great importance and is very new and interesting too. The subjects offered are relevant and insightful as they offer knowledge on all aspects of the field. The curriculum is in correspondence to the syllabus of entrance exams like GATE making the preparation easier. We have exams every 4 months. The schedule is decent but there are lesser gaps than required between exams. The practical exams are sometimes conducted in the gaps between the exams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester we are eligible for placement drive in our campus. Comoanies like flipcart bulebook etc have visited here but the offers was very less. Average package is 4 LPA and Highest package is 7 LPA till the date. Around 40 percentage of students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is that taking job from off campus. Hope so i will get it
