IIT Kanpur is known for its rigorous academic programs and excellent faculty members who are experts in their fields.
The institute provides ample opportunities for students to engage in research projects across various disciplines.

Like many technical institutions in India, IIT Kanpur has been criticized for its lack of diversity in terms of gender, socioeconomic background

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course of the curriculum here is too amazing all the faculties are too experienced and too good but when we talk grading IIT KANPUR gives the worst grading upon all other engineering colleges the frequency of timing of exams here we have midterm examinations for 2 hours and endterm examination for 3 hours and also we have in between small quizzes which also includes in final grades.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 860000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fee for one year is 200000. And the registration fee will be around 34000. And mess and electricity bill will be 3500 approximately for a month. The students who belong to SC ST, low income families no need to pay tution fee. Remaining all they have to pay. There is no increase in the tution fee since many years. There are many scholarships available for students like Kotak Kenya, Foundation for excellence, NSP, SBF, FBM , relaince etc., I don't think there are campus employments for UG students . No stipend is awarded for UG students.

Campus Life :

Techkriti, Antaragni, Udghosh are the major fests happen in our college We have one of the India largest library so there are a lot of book here All the equipment available in labs are in working condition. The facilities are good here Yes annual sports fest udghosh and inter pool sports Udghosh

Hostel Facilities :

IIT Kanpur offers on-campus hostel accommodation for its students. The hostels are well-maintained and provide various amenities to ensure a comfortable living experience. Each hostel typically has common areas for socializing, study rooms, recreational facilities, and dining halls serving nutritious meals.The hostel rooms are usually equipped with basic furniture such as a bed, study table, chair, cupboard, and a mattress. Some hostels may also provide additional amenities like internet connectivity, laundry services, and sports facilities.

Hostel Fee : INR 80000 per year

Admission :

The cut off of these colleges in starts at 170 rank AIR for computer science engineering students where I got 2467 rank to avail these mechanical engineering branch the process of admission was quite tough they asked us for complete details from the bottom of ground to tip of the pen

Placement Experience:

The best thing about our college is the placements. Even the market at this time is not performing that well still our college is able to privide us good campus placements, some good companies with huge packages visits our campus is the Commovault, PaloAulto etc.

Dei make their students a better human being first.

Placement Experience:

More specifically if I am talking about placement is that if you want to get good placements in dei that you must maintain your sgpa at least 8 points for you to appear in the placement cell. There are many companies visited in college like torrent power for electrical branch and other for their respective branches. Around 60% of students get their placements through college and it also depends on students' ability and skills. Since I am in the 4th semester so yes from 3rd year students get their training or internship through college to students with good grades. So you must have to maintain at least 8 sgpa for better placements.
