  • There is no air conditioners in hostels.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculim is very good and well designed keeping in mind the current scenario. Exams are held every 2 months and are moderately difficult. Teaching methods are good and faculty is very good.

Internships Opportunities :

Our college provides very good internship oppurtunities on campus. These oppurtunities can be very helpful and we can get a very good experience of industry. We can learn a lot in internships and these can be very useful.

Placement Experience :

Our college provides very good on campus placements. The average package of CSE dept. is around 28 lpa. Almost 100% students get placed from CSE dept each year. The highest package is 65lpa in campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees is manageable. It is around 9 lacs for entire course. Scholorship is available for students with family income less than 5 lacs. Hostel fees per semester is around 19500. The course overall is quite affordable.

Campus Life :

There are 3 fests annually in our college, zietgiest(cultural fest), advitya(tech fest) and aarohan(sports fest). The college provides very good sports and extracurricular activities on campus. Various clubs are run by students

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is good with very good infrastructure and very affordable with per semester fees around 5 lacs. Mess meal is decent but can be improved. Hostels are not equipped with AC's which becomes very difficult in summer season.

Admission :

I gave JEE advanved exam in which i secured AIR 1650 with help of which i got admitted in this college. I availed no reservation benifits. The exam of JEE Advanved is very tough and is held in may or june each year

I think those who really deserve to get the good placement, even this year when everyone is talking about the recession LPU's students got placement of 52lpa, 39lpa, and much more, and yes if the student will increase and the job seats will not then there will be an increase in unemployability

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was doing bachelor of Technology in computer science. Starting from the classroom to the computer labs , everything is available and well maintained. You learn programming and languages with the help of faculty and for every student there is computer available with all equipments. In a week, there are 3 days of computer lab practice and 3 days for classwork. The professor tests and skills very often and if there is any inefficiency , he/she will help you to correct it. The curriculum at Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engineering and Technology is thoughtfully designed to provide a comprehensive education that balances theoretical foundations with practical applications. The courses are continually updated to reflect the latest advancements in technology and industry trends, ensuring that students receive a modern and relevant education. Each program offers a well-rounded mix of core subjects, electives, and hands-on projects that allow students to tailor their learning experiences to

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as I was passionate about coding from my 10th class and technology always fascinates me. In our class, total students were 70 which was same for most of the sections. Some faculty members of my college were good while most of them were tolerable. Most of them had masters degree and some had done PhD. They were focused mostly on the curricullum designed by the university and completed syllabus within the timeline. Our college had separate marks for attendance and any student with below 75 attendance will not be able to give end term exams except for some medical condition. We had CAs (class assement exams), mid term exams and end term exams. The CAs are little bit higher level as that of mid and end terms exams. Overall exams are moderate to higher and someone who had studied the syllabus topics and followed the faculty members will easy pass the exam.
