RIMT University, Punjab was established in the year 1998, under the recognition of AICTE, BCI, PCI, and COA. The university is approved under the University Grants Commission(UGC) and the Punjab State Legislature.

RIMT University Courses
The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs to the students in more than 30 streams at different levels.
B.Tech(Computer Applications)
This 4-year undergraduate program focuses on providing the students with a broad understanding of software and hardware developments of different computer systems.
The program is affiliated by AICTE, moduled in impoverishing the knowledge of programming languages.
Eligibility Criteria: 10+2(PCM), from any government, recognized institution or equivalent, with a minimum of 45% marks for students under the General category and 40% for students under SC/ST category.
B.P.T
It is a 4-year medical program, based on providing in-depth information about Human Anatomy, Biomechanics, Therapy, etc. The program offers wide career opportunities in the field of the health sector.
Eligibility Criteria: 10+2(PCB), with a minimum of 50% marks
MBA(Marketing)
MBA in marketing has always been one of the preferred 2-year postgraduate programs amongst students. The program covers concepts based on market research theories and international marketing.
Eligibility Criteria: Bachelors’ from any government recognized institution or equivalent
LLM
It is a 1-year postgraduate law course, providing specializations in different fields like Family Law, Human Rights Law, Criminal Law, etc. The program is affiliated by the Bar Council of India.
Eligibility Criteria: LLB, BA-LLB, B.COM-LLB or BBA-LLB with 50% aggregate marks.
M.Phil/Ph.D. Program
RIMT university offers doctoral programs to the students, offering admissions on the basis of entrance examinations and personal interviews. The program spans between 3-5 years involving both research and classroom training, offered in more than 20 specializations.

The admission in the University is very easy. We have to apply application anddoesn't require any entrance exam. They will provide us a scholarship according to our 12th exam percentage which is very good and doesn't have any burden on the students about their Entrance exams.

The eligibility is based on 12 marks minimum 60 percentage for btech courses the application form addmission dates its all present on their website easily.the management is easily approach for admission purpose

- the college is good with a good enviornment and ambience, its a quite big place to be and all the department are sorted well all the colleagus are helpful and co-operative and the facuilty here was good as they come from an iit background to teach .
- the facuilty was good here and the teachers are good and supportive the infrastructure was well prepared for all the students all the amineties was available in the college with a good canteen for student to hangout with a proper garden area.
Dislikes
- the things i dislike was the hostel fees as the hostel fees was quite high the very first year the provided good food but later on it was not tolerable and the buillding was not painted properly due to some reason.
- the weather here in college is quite unpredictable as in summer it continus with a heat wave and in winters its too cold to go out overall the weather is good depend what you want.
Admission:
the addmission process is uite good you dont need to have any cut off marks or indeed all you need is just to qualify your schooling with an average of 55% marks ive visited the placement cell directly and filled up the form for the addmission and after when i got registered in the college the team asked to submit the 1st semister fees and it was a fast process of about 2 or 3 hours it was smooth once ive submited the fees i got a challan and date when the college is about to start all you need is to wit for the new session to begin if you have any reservation the college will give you the scholarship every year as i told you the exams are quite casual like others you need to go through the study material and it will be qute easier as per my perspective yes the rest addmission caan take quite a bit time if the relevent person attent the student until the addmission have been done it will take only 3 min to complete the addmission process.

It requires minimum 65% marks to take admission in college. They have to improve the admission process in their university. Application form and every information we wants regarding admission we will contact the receptionist of the university

Admission process is very easy. There is no entrance exam for any course. I got my admission there through consultancy which helped me a lot there and saved my fee also for 1st semester. The candidate must have done his 12th from recognized board You can get the application updates from the RIMT official website. There is no need to improve admission process it is really good

The course eligibility is 60% and application fees, application dates are available in the college portal. I am a general quota so I don't have any reservation benefits. The admission process was very smooth, there were no challenges I faced.

The admission process was too simple, Just I filled out a form and showed my 12th result for scholarship opportunities and that's it, I was admitted in RIMT UNIVERSITY, They also offered me a Cold drink and some snacks when I visited first to there University

Yes, there are scholarships available at RIMT University. The scholarships are available on the basis of academic excellence in the previous qualifications.
The total fee of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is INR 4.55 lacs. The first-year fee is INR 1.25 lacs. The second, third and fourth-year fees of the course are the same INR 1.10 lacs.
The fee for the Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology is INR 1,89,000 for the duration of 2 years which includes various charges such as registration fees, tuition fees, examination fees, college development fund, security deposit, and other miscellaneous charges.
RIMT University does not offer BA Honors English to students. Instead of this, the RIMT university offers BA in General specialisation and BA in Photography.
The registration process for the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) has started for the 2022 – 2025 academic session and the fee is INR 2,50,000 for the duration of 3 years which includes various charges such as tuition fees, examination fees, security deposit, etc.
