Remarks :

I don't think that there are something bad regarding our college as I am completely satisfied with my college. The only thing could be food a little bit. Others are completely fine.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our college is very much research driven. According to some rankings, IIT Ropar is India's no 1 College in terms of research. That's the best thing we can have. Also placement scenarios are also very good. If anyone is interested in reach field then he must take our college is he has enough rank.

Placement Experience :

I have got internship in my second year but unfortunately due to COVID19 I won't be able to do that. But as I have heard, our college is only which calls companies for internships in second year. Also we have internships for this year. They also offer PPOs. And also companies come for campus selection.

College Events :

We have a great celebration for each and every events in our college for example Ganesh chaturthi,Holi, Diwali,etc funded by Student affairs in which all student celebrate enthusiastically. We also have 3 College fests- Aarohan- Sports fest Advitiya - technical fest Zeitgeist- cultural fest In which students from all over the India come to our college to participate, compete and win prizes.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

1 lakhs per semester as tuition fee and approx 30-40 k extra for hostel, food,etc. It is completely feasible as if anybody couldn't afford then we have a bank- State Bank of India in our campus only which offers loans directly without any long processes.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes I have opted for scholarship in which I need not to pay my tuition fee due to low parental income below 1 lpa.

Campus Life :

Now we have a very good gender ratio due to reservation. Earlier it was used to be very low. But now it's 12/14 in a class of 75 depends on the branch. Now it's fine. And participation is also very good in cultural, technical, sports activities. We do have a culture to enhance the things.

Hostel Facilities :

I have opted for Chenab hostel as freshers and sophomore opt for that. And we have more hostels Sutlej,Beas,Raavi(for girls). Standards of the hostel is excellent. We have washerman in the college for washing our clothes. We have gym,TV in hostels, etc

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes we do have a very good alumni network and we are very grateful for that. We have a alumni meet every one or two year. Also, we have WhatsApp, LinkedIn group for that.

Admission :

I got admission through India's one of the toughest competition JEE(Joint Entrance Examination) 2018. I have cracked JEE through self study without going to any coaching centre. I got result in June 2018 and got admission in July 25,2018. The college is beyond my expectations. It's literally awesome.

Faculty :

Number of lectures per semester for a course is 40. But we have access to the faculty anytime whenever the time for both resonates. Professor student ratio is also very good for our college. We have all types of faculty young, old as assistant professor, associate professor and professor.

Major Recruiter companies for campus placements include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, KPMG, Accenture For the academic session Batch 2023-24, Highest Package was 18.43 lakhs and the average package was 6.40 lakhs. Overall placement rate for b.tech. cse is around 80-85%.

LPU : College with good campus and facilities.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Many big companies such as Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and Adobe visit our college. The highest package is 3 crores and the average is 6-7 LPA. Mainly students get placed. After my degree, I will take placement.

The overall experience from the student who studied there

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good. Irrespective of the level of hardness the college provided the timing is only for 3 hours per exam no matter what difficulty level is. Sometimes, the college conducts online exams which happen for 3 hours in the form of mcqs and the test includes all the subjects at once which makes the students stressed out.

Placement Experience:

From passing 2nd year onwards students are eligible for the placements classes which costs around 10-12k till 4th year. I'm from mechanical field so the highest package is around 18 lakhs and average package goes to 4-6 lakhs.

Only one thing I hate about college is they don't paint the building outside of the whole college for income tax purpose I think this is very disappointing thing of the college But otherwise College is good.
